Fair lunch deal

For 10,50 you get a fair deal of either soup or salad and a main plus water. For sure there are more ambitious cooks on planet earth, but this food is plain and ok, vegetables and grains that taste good enough in big portions. For a work lunch a good option, and the space is big and has lots of natural light, you can sit outside, too. Tables are often shared, which makes it easier to eat out unaccompanied.

vegan organic lunch

This place offers a set, of either a soup or a salad and a main course. You can of course buy them separately, but at much higher prices. Their strongest cards are the sandwiches and baked goods (which vary widely in quality). Also, many of the ingredients are organic - but not all, which they do not tell you upfront, you have to ask (e.g. none of the fruit is organic). Overall, the soups are quite simple - in the lacking sense. They mostly consist of boiled and mixed veggies, with little flavour or consistency. It is often watery and rarely has those flavourings that can make soups excellent - e.g. herbs, accentuating more expensive vegetables, spices etc. That being said, if you buy one of their excellent sandwiches, it can be worthwhile, also now and then the soup is good in itself. The salad is a disappointment 9 times out of 10, with the majority of it consisting of uninteresting filler ingredients, with some lackluster accentuations. Only very rarely will you find a well-balanced salad, but when you do it is quite good. The main dish is almost never worth the money, even if it might at occasion look good - it is most often bland and unimaginative. I am surprised at how long it takes to get the food, considering the many staffers. It is not unusual for them to entirely forget your order either. Some of them are quite pleasant, then there are the odd exceptions there as well. Overall it is an overpriced under-qualitative experience, whose only virtues are that they are vegan and organic.

Pros: Organic vegan food, Nice sandwiches , Bright locale

Cons: Overly expensive for what you get, Too many low-cost ingredients

Ayurvedic diet with great choice

My absolute favourite for lunch or just having a coffee on its sunny terrace. The food choice is always varied which makes it easy to find gluten-free and vegan options. I like the vegan tortilla, rice dishes and fresh juices! Great interior in canteen style with plenty of seating.

Pros: sunny terrace , water is complimentary, kids friendly

We have orderer a pumpkin- ginger soup (5,20Eur) , capuccino and carrot cake (about 3eur) . We were satisfied.
I love a pumpkin soup and this soup was so creamy and soft. I really recommend this restaurant. They also offer sendwiches, hummus, daily menu, cakes, smoothies. Their interior is simple and nice.

Pros: interior, excellent food, nice vibe

Great for lunch

Laid-back canteen style restaurant with several options that change daily. I had a miso soup and a great "buddha bowl" with plenty of veggies, avocado, cereals, chick peas and sprouts - delicious and nourishing! Good price for large portions that will definitely satisfy any appetite.

Perfect sunday afternoon

Great brunch during the weekend. You get toast, fresh juice, tortilla, wonderful cake (free to choose out of a range of very tempting cakes) and coffee for 15€. Very friendly staff. It's the first time for us that, after finishing our meals, they say: "Yoy can stay as long as.you want. You can get free water inside." So we ended up on the terrace for some hours, reading, writing and sipping a cappuccino. Very quiet area, lots of room. Perfect Sunday afternoon.

Pros: very spacious, well organised and very friendly, very clean toilets

Cons: you don't want to leave, ever

Easy going quick lunch

Wide space and light sopa chain with different daily options: always include at least vegan starter, main and dessert. The staff could be a bit more cheery, but other than that nice soups with rice, couscous or buckwheat starter, mains offering hot options and salads, vegan and gluten free desserts available.

I had a carrot and ginger soup with whole grain rice to startst and a vegan lasagne for the main dish.

With a range of oils and seeds to add yourself!

Ample seating inside or out on the terrace.

not impressed

Food is not so fresh and it is completely over priced.
The dishes were quite small for me. Didn't really enjoy a thing...

Interesting and very good burger

We only ate here once. I had a burger made out of tofu with asparagus and sprouts on the side and it was really good. It was a bit difficult for us to order because we only spoke English, but in the end we got along just fine with the staff. I would come here again when I return to Barcelona.

Laid back and friendly

Friendly service at the counter and a spacious seating area in a triangle shaped room with large windows. It's a light, cool atmosphere with ceiling fans above the tables.

The vegan options were soup, salad and dessert. They were healthy and tasty. English was spoken and the music was pretty laid back. They were playing Tinariwen and Anthony and the Johnsons. It was an enjoyable visit.

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly, Nice open seating space
