Best Brunch in Barcelona! - Edit
Fantastic place! Close to our hotel and we went here 3 times on our 5 day trip. Food is super fresh and tastes delicious. You can tell they care about good quality ingredients. The Shakshuka is 🤤🤤. Shout out to the owner. She always took great care of us even when the restaurant was busy (which it always was). A must visit when you’re in Barcelona!

I went to Morgentau especially for their french toast and scramble tofu. I always loved french toast and yet it's rarely on vegan menus. I started with the scramble tofu. It was delicious. Very soft texture that kind of melted in your mouth. Came with a really nice salad. 10/10.
Read moreThen obviously I had to go with the french toast. What can I say. That is the best vegan french toast I had in 14 years being vegan. 10000/10. The bread, the fresh fruit, the syrup. I travel frequently and I've never had better ones. Not even in the US yet. I also had a really good tumeric latte.
Such a beautiful place. The owner came over for a Chat and then when served the food and told me how they made this deliciousness. So lovely. I asked her about the great name as it is a german Word and I am german. Her husband and business partner is german to. Such a beautiful experience and overly delicious food. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect spot for a delicious vegan brunch. Tons of options, both sweet and savory. I had the French toast (top-rated on Happy Cow) and it was absolutely amazing. It's super fluffy and melts in your mouth, cinnamon-y and with delicious fruit. My partner ordered the classic English breakfast, which was huge and tasty, especially the tofu scramble and the vegan sausage (think it was Moving Mountains, yummy) and bacon. Chill vibe, friendly service, and great value. We'll be back for sure!

Read moreWe went there everyday during our stay in Barcelona, which I believe already says something about the place. Tried almost everything from the menu and everything was at least very good and excellent in most cases. Breakfast muffin was my favourite. The owner cares very much about the food and the customers and it also makes the whole experience much better than in other places that feel more impersonal.

Fantastic Vegan Lunch Spot - Edit
Morgentau is a wonderful vegan restaurant conveniently located on the way to the beach. I arrived at just the right time to catch their unbeatable lunch deal. It included a fresh bottle of water, a flavour-packed starter soup, roasted vegetables with chickpeas and beetroot cream, and a rich, caramel-like chia pudding. Everything was fresh and delicious — highly recommended!

Morgentau is a gem! The food was amazing and the service loveley. Such a beautiful interior and the whole menu looked so delicious that we took 3 meals - the english breakfast, omelette and french toast. Everything tasted wonderful and was gorgeously presented on the plates. You can really feel how much love goes into this place, from the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the design. So lovely! And a big plus point: when we went it was a team of women running the kitchen and the bar ❤️ love, love, love it!! A must go to when you are in Barcelona.

It is hard to decide what to order because the menu is so good! I ended up having the BEST French Toast ever. Made with vegan brioche, it looked amazing and tasted even better. The dirty chai was ideal to pair up with that. This is a place to come back over and over again. Great service and cozy atmosphere.

Strawberry and beets in the mixed greens salad were a nice touch, and the dressing was tasty.
Main dish was udon noodles. The noodles had the perfect ratio (in my opinion) of toppings to noodles. Tofu and mushrooms (oyster and button, I believe. The oyster mushrooms were to die for.) were the protein, and they were both amazing. Garnished with green onion, peanut, and black sesame. Very good.
Ended with an espresso, which hit the spot after filling my belly with lunch.
Would recommend. Will return again.

The lady working there was very nice and friendly. However, the food was pretty average, omelettes didn't have much flavour and were pretty dry. The filling was quite pleasant. Drinks were not that great tbh and banana bread was pretty plain too.

I really wanted to come here, as I'd been told it's great. It really is. I had the savoury omelette brunch option, and it was delicious. The mix of flavours was both traditional and fresh. Super filling, too. The staff was very attentive and friendly, I felt super comfortable. I loved that the water was infused with orange and mint, and it was 1L for 1€. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal, and I'll come back to try their sweet options! #Veganuary
