Online ordering available. Also available for Pickup and Delivery until 8PM. Open Mon-Sat 12:00-22:00, Sun 12:00-21:00. Kitchen closes one hour before closing.

We love Soil. The Ben Ben Noodles remain a firm favourite, and we also enjoyed the cod croquettes, smoky aubergine dip and spicy seitan sándwich. Sharing a bunch of starters is usually a winner.
Update! Now in January we've been back to try new dishes. The house-pickled Shii-take were good and my partner liked the kebab starter and (again) the spicy seitan sandwich. I tried the Tonkotsu ramen and it was excellent.
Good wine and service again!

Walked in to a subdued waiter and a room 2/3 filled with customers. We ordered a simple cheeseburger and order of kimchi loaded fries and one of the noodle dishes (I have attached the photo, but I can’t remember the name).  the loaded fries had enough kimchi to cover every bite of fry. The cheeseburger was delicious and the noodles had a nice spice level to them.

A friend and I had a lovely meal here. I had noodles and my friend had a burger and fries -- both super good and super filling. The staff were all so smiley and friendly and welcoming. Even though it was lunch time, they needed to find a place to seat us without a reservation (so, reservations are recommended) -- and we ended up sitting outside, which was way fine.

I walked 3 miles to get to SOIL and was told I could not get food as it is reservation only now.

Read moreWe do accept walk-ins when we have the space, but reservations get priority, and availability can change quickly depending on how busy we are. We should have explained that better.
As for the food, it’s obviously disappointing that it didn’t live up to the hype for you. We won’t argue with personal taste, but we do take the feedback seriously.
We appreciate you giving us a second chance, even if we didn’t win you over.
