Very popular. We arrived before it opened and sat down to wait. About ten minutes before it opened there was already a good queue forming. There was a lot of choice at the buffet with ingredients mostly clearly marked, We sampled most things from both the hot food and salad sides and really enjoyed it. Would happily go back again.

I have been wanting to go the Sattgrün for quite some time, and I'm glad I could finally visit the place today. I stuffed my plate perhaps a bit too much with all the food, but it was just too hard to choose, haha. The staff was very friendly as well, and it's quite a quiet place in the middle of the city center. The chai latte could use a bit more spice, but apart from that I would say: perfect spot!

I went by for cake and coffee, but was a bit disappointed by the coffee options, so ended up with a lemonade instead.

It was alright, but definitely nothing wow. I had expected much more, because I had heard a lot of praise for this restaurant, but it tasted bland - no spices, made with floury apples, just not a thought out dessert.

Top choice in Cologne - Edit
First time I ate here while on Cologne was simply because it was the closest vegan restaurant to our hotel, but then I loved their food and their roomy and quiet outdoor seating area, so I ended up having lunch or dinner here a few more times. Totally recommended.

Überwältigende leckere Auswahl! - Edit
Es ganz so viel Auswahl zwischen kalten Salaten und warmen Speisen, von denen man sich so viel nehmen konnte wie auf die ausgewählte Tellergröße gepasst hast. Alles hat sehr lecker geschmeckt und wurde immer sehr schnell am Buffet aufgefüllt, sodass man nicht auf Sachen warten musste. Für Veganer ein Paradies und auch sonst definitiv zu empfehlen!

Fully vegan buffet restaurant with a big terrace on a quiet square in the middle of the city very close to Dom and station. A large choice of sizes of platters and price. Fill as you like. Cold salads are mostly pickled. Hot dishes are mostly semi-warm so don't expect fresh hot portions. A lot of choice of dishes. The labeling with description of dishes were wrong on several options.
