Sakurai Udon is said to be the origin of Yoshida Udon. The noodles are chewy and firm, with a broth based on soy sauce and miso. Offers only two types of menu: cold (tsuke) or hot (kake). Toppings are simple, too, with only crunchy cabbage and fried tofu. The store is lined with autographs of celebrities, which shows how popular it is. Vegetarian & vegan. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-2:00pm. Closed Sun.
