Went there for a snack and hat the vegan cookie and a coffee. The cookie tasted a bit christmassy but I really liked it. The coffee was good. The staff was really friendly and english-speaking

Very peaceful and beautiful place. Got an oat milk matcha and a cold brew for drinks, and an oat cookie. There was also a vegan lasagne on the menu which I didn’t try. 10/10 place would come back!

Overpriced and underwhelming chai but calming ambience - Edit
Arrived at 3:45pm (a little more than an hour before closing). Nearly empty because it was an overcast day with minimal tourists around. Sadly, they were sold out of all food and treats. Ordered a Cold Oat Milk chai. It had a very mild taste and was very overpriced for the size (a single glass with lots of ice for 700 yen). Very sweet cafe atmosphere and waitstaff otherwise.

Veggie lasagna is yummy - Edit
I enjoyed the veggie lasagna. It is definitely not vegan (lots of gooey cheese) but it was delicious and a delight to find a veggie meal for lunch. They also have alternative milks available for coffee.

Superb breakfast - Edit
We were staying at the nearby Saruya Hostel, and got a breakfast deal at Fabcafe at the reception. We went with the vegetable breakfast and it's amazing. Hummus, mushrooms, a salad and very good bread.

I have just been here on a Saturday at 8 am, they have the option for oat milk so I had a latte which was very tasty.
Read moreThey also had vegan oat cookies (clearly marked as vegan), so had one if those as well.
Staff speaks good English and they said the cookies were the only vegan option, but I haven't tried to ask if it was possible to alter any of their dishes and make it vegan, as coffee and a cookie is enough for me for breakfast.

Cons: Apparently no vegan options, other than the cookie
