Amazing food and atmosphere - Edit
Loved eating at Sadhu, there were so many options we couldn’t make up our mind! Paid ~270k VND and ate so much I almost exploded. Favourite two things I ordered were the Hanoi Noodles and Vietnamese Pancakes.

amazing, flavourful traditional food - Edit
really great to taste veganised traditional food where you do not have to compromise in taste. however do note that the whole menu is not vegan (a few contains milk, but entirely vego) - best to ask the employees to check, especially anything with cream-looking ingredients (i.e. creamy soup)

Wowza - Edit
Quite possibly the most incredible food I have ever experienced one meal here and I have tried 10 different things I’ve never seen before. This place is not catering to Western tastes it is authentic Vietnamese cooking at its best. 😍

Perfect - Edit
This place is absolutely perfect.
Read moreYes, for Vietnam standard it is pricey, but it‘s worth every VND.
You can choose between more than 60 small dishes. The staff told us exactly which is vegan. So we had a very good and filling (All you can eat) dinner. Fresh made and tasty.
Will go there again.

Abundant of options - Edit
This restaurant is very high-end, serving abundant of vegan and vegetarian options. I recommend to go for buffet since you can choose whatever you like from the menu. Last time we did and it cost around 300,000 VND/each for food and drink. The food was really nice, especially Hue specialties and tofu. The restaurant is tranquil and relaxing.

Best Meal in Hanoi I - Edit
Finally got to dine at Sadhu last night. Definitely the best food we’ve had in Hanoi. Not cheap by Vietnamese standards (228,000 Dong per person) but the food is worth it! The restaurant itself is large & comfortable. You order your dishes from a menu with pictures & names in both Vietnamese & English. Between the three of us we ordered 20 dishes, with staff wanting to know if we wanted more. The 20 were more than adequate. All dishes were good with most I’d rate as very good. Staff helpful with reasonable English. Last orders at 9.00 PM. Now been back for a second time.

Vietnamese vegetarian fine dining - Edit
Absolutely value for money given that the price per person is similar to what you pay for certain variations of hotpot. The variety is amazing. Come with a very empty stomach!

Went Twice in One Week - Edit
We were really impressed during our first visit to Sadhu. It’s all you can eat ordered through a menu. The presentation of each dish was beautiful and the amount was small, encouraging diners to try a variety of dishes. On our first night, there were 3-4 dishes which were sold out (mainly the jackfruit starter, one desert, and a brown rice noodle plate I had wanted to try). We went back again on our last night bc I was hoping to try those dishes. Unfortunately, they were still sold out 4 days later. Overall, I’d go back again. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious, healthy food, and great service.

Top quality food, all you can eat - Edit
First the exterior and interior decor is beautiful. You are seated and given a menu and it’s all you can eat but they serve to you at your table which for me is much better than a buffet. I thought the price ($9 usd) was very reasonable for the quality and all you care to eat style of the restaurant. In all of Vietnam I found found they say vegan but are just meaning vegetarian (I seems cultural) but I had not issues asking questions to confirm no egg or dairy were used in my dishes and really enjoyed every dish I ordered, and I ordered more than I care to share :)

Lunch costs at least 228000 - Edit
Nice place, nice staff but you have to pay at least 228000 each, which was far more than we were expecting for a restaurant with 2 $$. The Veg in the old quarter has the same rating and the food is far cheaper and amazing.

Not much understanding of vegan. - Edit
We got off to a bad start after telling the staff we were vegan and they said no problem and were told everything was vegan. We were then offered soup which contained cream. After explaining again no animal product, we were served a dish with mayonnaise which wasn't in the picture on the menu. After explaining again, we continually were offered things with egg. Overall the food was good, when they finally got it, but after, when we asked for a discount (Just drinks taken off, which would have been perfectly acceptable anywhere else) because of the misunderstanding, the manager flat out refused and used the excuse ' my staff don't speak English' which they absolutely did. They thought an apology was good enough. Their customer service in my opinion needs work and for an establishment that had such a pretentious feel to it, they really need to learn what vegan means in 2019.

Nice stylish place - Edit
This place is quite fancy. Good for a special occasion or nice date. You pay a set price which is quite on the high end for Vietnam (bill came to 550k for two people) and then you can chose as many dishes on the menu as you like. The food is fresh and very good and staff are nice and helpful. It's not clear from the menu which dishes and drinks have cream in them but staff were able to advise.
