Opened late-2014 this bistro serves vegan and raw-vegan dishes (from 8pm) inspired by local and international cuisines. Diners eat in the company of six cats who wander around the tables. Cozy atmosphere. Reservations are required for dinner, usually 5+ days in advance. Kitchen is open 10AM-11:30AM (breakfast) / 1PM-2:30PM (lunch) / 4PM-6:30PM (afternoon snack) / 8PM-10:30PM (dinner). Open Tue-Sun 10:00-11:30, 13:00-14:30, 16:00-18:30, 20:00-22:30. Closed Mon.

Great food, cute cats - Edit
Romeow was by far the best cat cafe we have ever been to, both in relation to the food and the care for the cats. The place is tastefully decorated, the cats are relaxed and several groups of locals seemed to genuinely to come just for the food.

We came here and wanted a small snack. We wanted to share 1 menu for 2 people. According to the waitress that was not possible, because every person has to choose 1 "mood". Our mood suddenly became "annoyed" and we left the place.

Adorable concept, mediocre food. - Edit
The perfect place to go if you are a cat lover, it’s honestly beautiful inside. The food was not very good if I’m being honest (we couldn’t even eat one of the pastas because it tasted so bad and I never do that). The one dish we both really liked was the twisted pesto breadsticks with ricotta dip, so definitely try that. I would recommend getting an appetizer, dessert and drinks instead of ordering a full meal. They still get a high rating because it’s a great concept and I don’t think people are going for the food anyways.

This place is an absolute delight. If delicious vegan food and cats weren't enough of a temptation, the atmosphere is just perfect. Everything on the menu is vegan, can be made gluten free, and is honestly some of the best vegan food I've ever tried. New favorite place in Rome.

Vegan Cat Café - how much better can it get? - Edit
I love that the menu is always being updated, as is the gorgeous art on the wall. I can’t decide which is more wonderful- the food or the cats! The perfect little creatures running around or lounging while you enjoy your meal, really make you feel at home.

This was one of my favourite restaurants ever! I tried the noodles and some cake. The cats are the cutest and the staff is the kindest, I had a problem with my credit card and unluckily I had to let them wait around 15-20 minutes before being able to pay, but they were still really nice!

Wir wurden gleich von einer sehr neugierigen weissen Katze begrüßt die uns auch gleich belagert hat und erstmal tüchtig durchgekuschelt werden wollte. An zweiter Stelle kam das Essen. Wir hatten eine Buddah Bowl mit Quinoa, Tempeh, Süsskartoffeln und vielen anderen Gemüse. Dazu Kombucha und Orangenlimo. Zum Nachtisch Cappuccino und ein Schokomuffin. Das essen war lecker und die Athmosphäre sehr entspannend. Ein Ort zum verweilen und genießen.

The food here was amazing and the staff were friendly. I was torn between two dishes so the waitress gave me her recommendation which I appreciated. Eating in the company of cats was amazing while being on a long holiday and missing my own cat. The restaurant was pretty quiet and the cats seemed happy. It was very clear that the staff loved the cats too. Would highly recommend coming here.

This was my favorite place to eat in Rome. I am vegan and love cats, so no brainer! The ambiance and kitties were purrfect! I arrived at a weird hour, kind of after lunch/before dinner, but was looking for more of a meal than a snack. The owner said she’d whip something up and it was delicious! Everyone there was super friendly and the cats were so cute. I never wanted to leave. :)

This was our second visit with the last 12 months ago. My booking was for 8pm and the restaurant looked deserted when we arrived at 7.45 so went for a drink at Hopside, a nearby bar. We were still the first customers when we sat at 8.15. People eat late in Rome. We had the tasting menu which was excellent value and offered a huge variety of tastes. I enjoyed everything, especially the croquettes and the tofu. Pudding was delicious too.

Delicious food surrounded by cats! - Edit
Almost forgot to go here before leaving Rome, I would have been so sad! Made a reservation for lunch, ate upstairs. There are no normal tables up there but it is still very comfortable, also makes it easier for the cats the step on you if they chose to do so😉The food was amazing! All vegan and lots of flavor, everyone that works here was also very friendly! I hope to be back next time I find myself in Rome.
