Opened late-2014 this bistro serves vegan and raw-vegan dishes (from 8pm) inspired by local and international cuisines. Diners eat in the company of six cats who wander around the tables. Cozy atmosphere. Reservations are required for dinner, usually 5+ days in advance. Kitchen is open 10AM-11:30AM (breakfast) / 1PM-2:30PM (lunch) / 4PM-6:30PM (afternoon snack) / 8PM-10:30PM (dinner). Open Tue-Sun 10:00-11:30, 13:00-14:30, 16:00-18:30, 20:00-22:30. Closed Mon.

Great food, cute cats - Edit
Romeow was by far the best cat cafe we have ever been to, both in relation to the food and the care for the cats. The place is tastefully decorated, the cats are relaxed and several groups of locals seemed to genuinely to come just for the food.

The nicest "cat cafe" I've been too. Very high quality menu, was hard to choose as so many delicious -sounding options. No cat smell and simple rules so people don't bother the cats - don't wake them if they're sleeping, etc. Only 6 cats for the large space so felt very high welfare. Would revisit to try more of menu.

A charming fully vegan upscale restaurant where you dine amongst some sweet furry friends! The food was amazing! My husband had told them it was my birthday so they brought me a little tiramisu with a candle in it. Everything we had was delicious and well presented. The restaurant is not far from a bus stop so it was easy to get to. I recommend you make reservations as they were very full. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday!

This place is fab! The food was lovely as was the super calm, friendly atmosphere. And of course the cats!! Customers are encouraged to give them space as needed, but they were super friendly! The cats had space to go away from the public if they preferred, which we were so pleased to see! Gorgeous pasta and desserts here

A Vegan Cat Cafe?!? - Edit
My wife wanted to see cats in Rome and boy did Romeow deliver. We ate a delightful lunch as cats napped in the sun from their perches. But the real reason I'm writing this food is because the food was a joy and had so much creativity and unique flavors. We loved the gazpacho, ravoli, and tempeh dishes that we tried. Come for the cats, but stay for the fantastic vegan food!

At first, I was a bit surprised about a cat RESTAURANT! But I have to admit it was not that weird after all. I love cats anyway, and they did not bother us while eating.

If you are a really hungry person, the portion size might be too small for you. My friend and I, however, were more than happy with the portions, sharing a starter, having our own main dish, and having dessert.

Read moreThis is a fine dining vegan restaurant that happens to have cats rather than a cat cafe entertainment venue. There are rules about not hassling them when they are sleeping and generally letting them be unless they come to you. The staff also seemed to be always aware of the cats and put their needs first which is great. They're very friendly, happy cats. They played with some of the guests while we were there and one lucky couple were even blessed with some lap time. It was lovely.
The food was interesting and delicious.
Pro tip: sit in the mezzanine level if you want to hang out with the kitties. It was a tiny bit awkward for dinner on a coffee table but totally worth it. The cats seem less interested in the main dining area, at least in the busy dinner times which makes sense.

The title says it all: They have delicious vegan food and 6 cute cats ruling this place by demanding cuddles and affection. The owner is very friendly. The food is expensive but I guess that's the case because they also need money for the cats so that's fine.

The Romeow Cat Bistrot is a cute place with a nice atmosphere. Me and my boyfriend ordered a table in the "living room" or "traklin" on the second floor- I don't remember the name but it was kind of a disappiontment. We felt a little lonely over there, far away from the waitresses, the company and even the cute cats who stayed on the first floor.😔

*Sardinian fregola- we weren't huge fans of this dish. The sauce was too smokey, and the pasta itself was a little tasteless.😿
*Jackfruit cacciucco- it was fine, but not special or excellent.🤷♀️
*Chocolate cake- YES YES YESSS! The best chocolate mousse cake I ate in a long time!😍😍😍

We came here to have a small celebration and it was just perfect! Most of the cats were sleeping or mysteriously disappeared after we came but the food was already worth getting a reservation (an absolut must!)! We tried four different dishes and all were delicious and beautifully decorated!
