I really appreciated that there were several vegan options and that they were clearly marked but....unfortunately I'm not impressed by the taste. I ordered a linguine with "gorgonzola" and I couldn't feel any taste of that wharmt so ever.

Il menu del ristorante presenta diverse opzioni vegan con alcune scelte del giorno presentate a voce dal personale, le quali a nostro avviso andrebbero indicate con più trasparenza (con il relativo costo) in un foglio a parte fornito assieme al menù. L'ostentata gentilezza del personale ci ha dato l'impressione di voler spingere ad ordinare più piatti di quanti ne avevamo già ordinati e ad indirizzare le nostre scelte proprio verso i piatti del giorno, tra cui un piatto di affettati misti di salumi, presentato con nr. 9 fette, e un piatto di ravioli (nemmeno 10) con ripieno di verdure e formaggio e con una semplice crema di ceci, il cui costo era rispettivamente di € 18 ed € 17, prezzi oltremodo eccessivi considerando esperienze pregresse in altri locali nonché il fatto che il ristorante non è in pieno centro o su qualche famosa piazza.

Le linguine con radicchio e gorgonzola veg erano gustose anche se il costo di € 17 anche in questo caso pare eccessivo.
La delizia al cioccolato era buona, ma sempre eccessivo il prezzo in confronto alla porzione mini.

Cantina 26 has a separate vegan menu with antipasti, primi and secondi. Additionally there was a vegan special on the day we went - overall, great selection of various dishes.

I had spinach frittelle (tasty, with nice texture!) and linguine with radicchio di Treviso and vegan gorgonzola which was exceptional. I’d love to go back there to try more of their beautiful dedicated vegan dishes! They also have a selection of vegan desserts to choose from.
Our waiters were great and the overall experience we had there was 5 stars!

There is an impressive amount of vegan options on the menu which is very tempting but the food took a very long time to come out and the waiter kept pushing us to buy more than we were ordering even though it was fairly pricey. The spinach pancakes were a very tasty starter but the bucatini pasta with seitan and vegan cheese was so plain, the seitan had such a rubbery texture and the cheese was tasteless.

Everything was amazing. We stopped by on our way back from the Vatican Museum for dinner. The risotto takes awhile to make, but it was worth it. And that was the salad I’ve had in Italy. I wished we’d had room to try dessert

The menu is very varied, something for everyone. I had the vegan seitan spaghetti, with vegan cheese - delicious! If you're vegan or have a special dietary requirement, the guys in this restaurant understand and will try their best to cater for you. This is a sign of a great restaurant whose aim is to please their diners

Cantina 26 have a dedicated vegan menu, which is unusual in Rome. They have a labelled vegan red wine also and it was lovely. I had the spinach pancake and radish/vegan gorgozola pasta and it was soooooo good! The service was excellent and we sat outside to take in the surroundings. This is a definite stop for vegan visitors in Roma.

Cantina 26 is a nice place, serving meat but with a large, clearly labeled, vegan menu. I tried linguine with Trevisano radicchio and vegan blu cheese, very savoury, and the tofu-spinach balls with lemon cream, soooo yummy! They even have a couple of vegan desserts choices, that is quite impressive for a non-vegan restaurant... but unfortunately I was almost full and I just had a lemon sorbet.

I could come back for a special dinner with non-vegan friends, but is not in my favourites.
