Many vegan options - Edit
A lot of different vegan options and they are clearly marked in the menu. We tried pizza and pasta and they were really good. It might be a good idea to book a table in advance as the restaurant might be full

First meal in Italy and it was everything I hoped for!! - Edit
The vegan menu is very extensive. You will be overwhelmed with the options.. but that’s always better than being underwhelmed! If you’re looking for good vegan Italian, GO HERE!

Simply incredible - Edit
Came here for dinner and we were blown away by their vegan menu. Best meal we’ve had in Rome so far, regardless. Their pastas, pizzas, antipastis and second courses are all delicious. They also have a lot of options with seitan, tempeh and other sources of vegan protein which is very nice when you’ve been having carbs pretty much all the time.

So many amazing Vegan Choices - Edit
Had the greatest vegan meal, so many choices. We opted for vegan Arranchini, vegan Supli, and vegan croquetas for starters, they were gorgeous very nice vegan cheese, suited us down to the ground. Service was a little slow, but still a queue of 10 people waiting for seats obviously shows how good this place is. I had a Vegan pizza with artichokes, Seitan and chilli which was great, lovely tomato base. My girlfriend went for basically vegan carbonara, pasta with cheese and smoked Seitan and black pepper which was gorgeous too. Then onto the desserts, the absolute best, and again so many vegan choices, you have to try the Tiramisu which was amazing and Panna cotta was okay, but that was probably just due to how good the Tiramisu was!!! All of the above and two cocktails cost well under €60 you have to come here even if just for the Tiramisu, Bellissimo!!
Read morePros: SO many delicious vegan choices, Vegan Tiramisu was gorgeous, Very reasonable prices too, ~€10 a main!
Cons: Service a little slow, could have been very busy!, Sells meat / fish but I don’t mind that

Italian favorites - Edit
You're in Rome, you definitely want to eat some Italian specialties! You'll love Rifugio Romano. It's small and gets best crowded, so I recommend a reservation.

The best place for vegans in Rome! - Edit
OMG! This place was absolutely unreal! They have a whole seperate menu for vegans with countless authentic Italian dishes. It’s delicious and tasty Italian food made vegan and it was the best place we ate in all of Rome (and we tried other places but I were very disappointed). The staff are so lovely and this place is very busy so for dinner maybe call to book ahead or come in a bit earlier. We can here three nights in a row because there was so much to try! You could come here for a month and probably still not try everything vegan on offer! Do yourself a favour and come here! The carbonara w/ seitan was my favourite along with the custard desert. 💚🙌🏽

Dinner - Edit
Hmm we had high expectation. We ordered two appetiser: pizza balls with garlic (ok plus) and some other balls (lol). For dinner we had carbonara, calzone and pizza 4 formaggio. Carbonara didn’t taste anything, calzone was a dry, but the pizza was ok.

It got three stars because of the vegan options

Large menu - Edit
Massive vegan menu with so many options. Vegan replacement for all traditional aspects of meals - meats cheeses creams etc. I ordered carbonara, it was nice but not the best - quite salty. We ordered arancini entree but it did not come out until well after we had finished our mains. I still recommend this place.

Great food in a small restaurant - Edit
Small but very well visited restaurant. Very many vegan options. There are so many that there is even an extra card for it. The vegan spaghetti carbonara were great. And a dream what the vegan Tiramisu! Also have some vegan wines. Absolutely recommendable!

Overall really good just don't get the vegan almond pesto - Edit
Went with my sister. We shared some arancini (amazing) and the vegan tiramisu (also amazing). I got the vegan spicy sausage pasta, and thought it was quite good but I was expecting actual slices or chunks of sausage substitute, coundn't find them in the sauce.
Read moreHowever, my sister got the vegan pesto dish, and it was strange. We thought 'almond pesto' would mean a familiar pesto but with almonds as the nut base (instead of pine nuts or cashews). It turns out that this pesto didn't have ANY basil in it, it was more of a purely almond sauce with bits of courgette. The misunderstanding was not a huge issue, our fault for not clarifying, but most importantly it did not taste good. It reminded us of the way that a barn smells. Would not recommend that specific dish.
I don't mean to sound negative, we had a really good time there and all of the other food was good, I just wanted to warn people about the pesto dish. I was a little extra mortified because my sister isn't vegan and I was trying to impress her.

Entire vegan menu - Edit
I booked a table here based on their online reviews and it did not disappoint. There was an entire vegan menu including wines and everything was clearly identifiable. My omni partner was able to eat what he wanted and I was in my element with all the different vegan options. I had the mixed bruschetta, setian in mushroom sauce and the tiramisu. So yummy and if we ever come back to Rome I will definitely go back again to try something else!

Great vegan menu, not as expensive as 3 Dollar signs wold suggest. Had a really good vegan carbonara, paid 12€ for it. Compared to prices in rome this seems pretty fair.

I came without a reservation and there was quite a queue in front of the restaurant. I still got a seat very quickly as I was on my own. The card contains a whole section of vegan options for each of the traditional Italian meal courses. I had antipasti and pasta. The food was excellent!

Authentic Italian Cuisine done VEGAN - Edit
Authentic Italian cuisine made vegan in the heart of Roma!

My partner and I ordered the Shitake Mushrooms w/ Seitan and the Penne alla Vodka. Both dishes were very salty but that’s very common in Italy. The Shitake mushrooms w/ Seitan was so delicious and the Seitan was cooked just right (not too rubbery from the gluten). The penne vodka was not very creamy, as expected and was just too salty. We ordered their vegan wine and the Aperfol. Listen, if you haven’t tried Aperfol be warned that it is very, very bitter and an acquired taste. My partner asked to get something else but the restaurant would not do so without charging him despite the fact he only had one sip.
Service**
The service was very slow but the waiter did have a lot of tables. After waiting about 10 minutes I had to go inside the restaurant and ask someone else for our check and then it came soon after.
Atmosphere**
The outside seating was nice but it’s a very busy area, which did not make for a romantic setting. For a vegan restaurant it was nicely sized and there was a good amount of seating inside and outside.
Price$$
Pros: Incredible Seitan , Good portion sizes
Cons: Expensive prices

I ask for a lasagna and it was good but not the best one of my life, the pizza dumplings also the same, good but nothing extraordinary. The prices are ok and the services also ok. The good think is they have a lot of options for vegan an not vegan . And the tiramisu was incredible
