fun to try traditional dishes - but average food - Edit
Went there three times and tried a few pasta dishes dishes. 2 out of 3 times the pasta was slightly overcooked though (for Italian standards):
Read more- Carbonara was the best of the three pastas i tried (although they should flavour the seitan more)
- Cacio E Pepe is a bit too heavy and is overall a bit bland
- Amatriciana is just a thick tomato sauce with bland seitan chunks. Not worth trying
- Arrancini & Suppli are great! Definitely try those
Its a fun place to try some traditional (veganized) italian food. Its not excellent food though and a pasta dish is about 13-14 Euro. It will fill you up though
Pros: many options, suppli + arrancini
Cons: not amazing food, slightly pricey for what it is

One of the best vegan options in Rome! - Edit
Located very close to Termini. Many and varied vegan options. Quality and abundant food. The best Tiramisu I've ever had! If it was 100% vegan, it would have 5 stars. Very friendly staff. A place to return !!!!

The best restaurant in Rome! - Edit
It is the best restaurant I have visited in Rome! There are lots of vegan options in menu including many, antipastis, pizzas, calzones, risottos, pastas, cannellonis, deserts and more! Actually at least half of the menu is vegan, what is interesting the vegan options are cheaper than the traditional ones! In general the prices are better than in most places in Rome but the experience is much better. It is unbelievable how tasty and unforgettable these dishes are. This is absolutely must-visit place! I have no doubt I will visit this place every time I come to Rome.

Amazing experience! - Edit
As both a vegan and an Italian sometimes it's hard to enjoy local cuisine since most of it is meat or egg based (especially fresh pasta). I had the possibility to enjoy their amazing vegan carbonara and it was delicious! I was with a non vegan friend that couldn't believe how amazing was her pasta as well! Deeply suggested!

Fantastic dining experience - Edit
If you’re vegan and in Rome eat here! It really is that good! I had the cannelloni, my wife had the lasagna and we both had tiramisu (though we could have shared that) and we agreed it was one of our best restaurant meals since we became vegan 6 or 7 years ago.

Must visit this place! - Edit
What a gem! Went here twice during my short stay. Some of the best food I’ve had in Italy. The staff is nice and very accommodating towards vegans, even though they serve meat. If you come later in the evening (~after 8 pm) it can be a bit crowded, but worth the wait for sure! You can also try to call ahead for a reservation but sometimes they don’t answer the phone.

Most delicious vegan carbonara and pizza ever - Edit
My boyfriend and I went there two times in the past 5 days. First time I got the vegan carbonara and second time I got a pizza.
Read moreIt was so super delicious and the vegan cheese is the best cheese I’ve ever tasted! You really can’t distinct it from real cheese. Just wow.
The vegan tiramisu and panna cotta were outstanding.
The second time we went, when they served my boyfriend his panna cotta, it was broken. We think it is because it was very busy, so the kitchen was probably really rushed. Dommage!
Nevertheless, worth a try! You can’t miss this place in Rome if you’re vegan.

Not a place where they love food. - Edit
It's a smal place withe a big big menu. I they have more than 30 maine course's. We're the just use meat replacement on top of pizza's, the pizza is medium. The pasta is to soft and the tortellini eggplant filling has no taste. The fact that's it's vegan gifts no reason to make it tasteless.

Incredibile vegan restaurant - Edit
Small and cozy restaurant nearby the Termini train and metro station. It has a full vegan menu alongside the classic omnivore one, with classic Italian dishes such as carbonara both in the vegan and traditional versions. Excellent products quality, and great attention to details from the starter to the dessert.

The best vegan Italian food - Edit
My husband and I had lunch here. Wow the food is SO good. They have so many vegan options on the menu, it’s honestly a bit overwhelming. I didn’t know what to order. They have options whether you’re a healthy vegan or more of a junk food vegan. I got the tofu salad, which was so delicious. And I also got the vegan cacio e pepe, a traditional Roman dish, which means “cheese and pepper”. It was out of this world delicious. I actually had to double check with the waiter to make sure he gave me the vegan version. He laughed and said, haven’t you read our google reviews?! This place is a MUST for vegan foodies in Rome.

A great restaurant to introduce my friends to veganism - Edit
We took our non-vegan friends here, and besides there being a non-vegan menu - there is an EXTENSIVE vegan menu available. In the spirit of the evening, our friends chose the vegan options and couldn’t say it was vegan. This restaurant does a good job of veganizing classic Roman dishes. The tiramisu is not to be missed.

Typical Roman trattoria with both a vegan and meat-eater menu. Perfect place to go with your non-vegan friends and to have an idea of traditional Roman cuisine. They also do vegan pizza with fake cheese which is really rare in Rome. Call them for delivery instead of using an app for better service!

A goodbye meal - Edit
We had lunch at Rifugio Romano before heading back home, since it is pretty close to Roma Termini. I absolutely loved the concept behind this place: a “rifugio”, a safe haven where inclusion is the key word. Indeed, they offer both traditional Italian cuisine and the vegan option of the same, genius! Food and service were great, I wish there were more “rifugi” like this one all around the world😄
