Okay food, set menu good value - Edit
Came here for the lunch set menu, which I believe changes daily. The celeriac soup was nice but the croquettes with it not that special. The mains - quinoa salad was a bit bland but the vegan option of quesadilla was better. The vegan dessert was a bit laughable - some orange slices and a scoop of ice cream, whilst the vegetarian option was a huge slice of cheese cake. For a veggie/vegan restaurant, I would expect them to be able to make a proper vegan dessert rather than prepare some peeled fruit. It’s a nice setting and overall the lunch was good value, but I left quite unsatisfied and probs won’t return.

Excellent vegan options - Edit
The starter board was chock full of vegan treats. Smoked cheese, beetroot relish, pate, wonderful pickles and olives and focaccia. All vegan. The aubergine dish was amongst the best tasted and the burger was absolutely superb. Topped with excellent vegan wine. Excellent and we will be back.

A most memorable dining experience - Edit
We had an amazing, amazing, amazing, did I say amazing dining experience at restaurant Oslo. From start to finish it was a memorable experience, beginning with easy phone reservations – a voice prompt tells you to push a button for the language you need to make the reservation in.
Read moreWe enjoyed a fixed menu at lunchtime for just under €15. The starter included leek soup and a salad of figs, dates, and quince.
The main course was a shepherds pie with quorn as the protein option, along with mashed potato, carrot and pepper.
We did not care for the dessert which was roasted pumpkin with ginger and hazelnut It was dry and tasteless, and did not at all seem like a dessert, but rather more a side dish.
The upstairs seating was in a wonderful warehouse/loft setting.
The service was excellent.
Pros: Gourmet fixed menu option , Affordable luncheon fixed menu, Excellent service

Looks great, but service and food don't match - Edit
The restaurant is beautiful, but the service was horrible. Even with a reservation we had to wait 20 min to place our order. The Guacamole appetizer was outstanding, but the puff pastry potato appetizer was too greasy to eat. The pasta entree was too thick and undercooked. The burger was ok, but the potatoes were again very greasy. We chose not to try dessert just to get out of there.

Creative menu, full of well elaborate options and that we have tried was delicious and very well presente. The artichoke hummus is a must. Service is also great and allows you to relax and enjoy. The house lemonade is really good.

Mid service, mid food. - Edit
The server seated us immediately without a reservation for dinner.
Read moreHe took our order, repeated it back and went on his way.
First dish, incorrect, so I called him over and explained we ordered the Artichoke Hummus, he apologised and amended it.
Next dish, incorrect, so I sheepishly took the plate back to him - he checked the order and it clearly showed both the dishes I had ordered.
So the kitchen made two mistakes, even though we were the only diners in at that point.
Food needs seasoning and the prices need adjusting for some of the more basic dishes. (Roasted veg in a wrap shouldn’t cost €15.90)
The server solved the problems we had but also they took an extremely long time to do anything. They never asked if we’d like another drink and basically ignored us.
There were only 11 other covers total.

Definitely an experience - Edit
Having tried their tasting menu, the guacamole, and dessert by far was the best. The dishes in between were a bit bland and unseasoned which could come down to personal preference. I was looking forward to trying the Hojal Bravas, but they were far too oily. I understand this is a deep fried dish, but some of the excess needed to be drained or patted. All in all, the experience with regards to the staff, service, and ambience was positive.

Very nice food and atmosphere - Edit
We were there for lunch and we were sitting upstairs. They had the day menu but we ordered a la carte. We had the appetiser and a main dish. The portion is quite big so we ended up only shared one dessert. The combo of ingredients for the dish was quite different but in a good way.

Excellent vegetarian food in Valencia's historic center - Edit
I highly recommend this restaurant! It's a vegetarian restaurant with clearly labelled vegan dishes as well as many dishes that can be made vegan upon request. There is an English menu, which is greatly appreciated.
Read moreThe dishes are very unique and creative. My non-vegan family and I thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers: the vegan ceviche and seitan salad with orange, mustard dressing, & avocado ice cream. I loved the ravioli with sundried tomato filling, mushroom demi-glace, and truffle oil - the texture and flavors were great, and the truffle oil added a lovely touch. The caramelized cookie cake that we got for dessert was OK but I've had better.
Their sangria is really strong (which is what we were going for, LOL) and I also sampled a delicious local vegan white wine from Valencia.
It came to 120 euros for 4 people, including 3 courses and drinks. Not cheap but reasonable for the quality of the food. I would recommend booking a table as it can get busy - we came on a Sunday at 2 pm without a reservation and we got the last available table! Service was friendly and timely.

Seeing multiple dishes we could not choose from, it was great to see a menu for 28.50 euros which included 3 starters (croquette, guacamole with veggie crisps, and a great puff pastry potato tart with black garlic sauce), 1 main course (we chose the poke bowl and the quesadilla) and a selection of desserts. They were all delicious and surprising!

I would highly recommend the Tasting Menu, which included three small starters, a main course (the aubergine moussaka was delicious!) and three small desserts, as well as three drinks. Just remember to tell the server you are a vegan.

Perfect for occasions - Edit
We went there for Valentine's day: they have a nice room upstairs with a cosy setting, perfect for any occasion! There was a small box of milk chocolate and a flower on each table, which was a lovely attention - except that it wasn't suitable for vegans.
Read moreEven though this is a vegetarian restaurant, they have plenty of vegan options on their menu, including the special menu they put together for Valentine's day. We are also gluten-free so we couldn't benefit from it but we found many alternatives from the à la carte menu.
The starter was nice and big enough to share. The mains were very tasty, but the portions felt very small. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll be pleased to know they have many amazing options too (and the slice of pumpkin pie was very generous!).
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner - just be prepared for a relatively slow service and a cost slightly higher than average.
Pros: Many vegan options clearly labelled
Cons: On the pricey side, Slow service
