Delicious yetsom beyaynet

Finally got an opportunity to visit here on what was a rare sunny day in Newcastle.

I got the yetsom beyaynet that consisted of a mix of curries on injeera, with a sourdough flatbread (£10), which was delicious. The owner was really friendly too.

Tasty spicy healthy!

Have long hoped for Ethiopian vegan food in Newcastle and here it is, absolutely delicious. Had a bowl with a bit of everything (£8), a really tasty mix of spicy tasty wholefoods with vegetable rice and a really tasty beetroot thing that makes me want to go back for more. Being Ethiopian food this is all served on a generous portion of Injeera, the pancake/bread made with a fermented teff batter which make it spongy light and magical - really is incomparable to other breads, awesome. Other half tried the coffee and reports that it was delicious. Definitely worth a trip to the Quayside Market to taste this delicious treat. (Apols no photo, got too excited by the injeera)

Pros: Authentic Ethiopian vegan food, Injeera, Friendly welcoming staff
