Good food not many options - Edit
Super helpful and friendly staff! They did not really know about vegan options but we managed together and the food was good. No saus but they had a vegan chutney

Very friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Several great vegan options (all were very nice, and the saksuka, hummus, and falafel were particularly delicious). Would definite recommend this place, though the vegan options were slightly limited.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
Lovely restaurant with nice decorating and friendly staff with good knowledge of the menu. Absolutely delicious vegan options, including the falafel, humus, salads, mezze dishes, mushroom dishes, and many more. Fairly quick service. Only 20 min walk from the centre of Newcastle.

This place is really lovely, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and made for a lovely experience and atmosphere.

There was a good amount of vegan options, one dish was labelled vegan and contained cheese but they made sure they told you it wasn’t vegan and contained diary and upon realising this error said they would have it corrected straight away.
Really enjoyed my time here, very well priced!

Family favourite - Edit
Red Mezze is a longstanding family favourite since it opened around ten years ago. Three generations have shared many a meal of mixed hot and cold mezze, with the entire order being vegan as there are so many choices. Food is delicious. Staff are wonderful. Great spot for a chai as well if you don’t have time for a meal. It’s very close to St James Park and the RVI hospital if you’re visiting either.
