Delicious lunches and cakes. My personal favorite is the matcha latte. At 6chf, it's a bit pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend if you are in Lausanne!

Quaint Cafe with Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
Great little cafe in Lausanne with an all-vefan menu, which is tough to find in Switzerland. We had the Open Burger that hosted a lentil/sweet potato patty with roasted veggies sitting atop cashew cheese. It came with a delicious side salad. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Farmers market stand on Saturdays - Edit
We tried one of the desserts offered at the brick-and-mortar establishment’s Saturday Market stand. The dessert was raw in its sensibility, and had a different taste than traditionally baked vegan counterparts. The employee overseeing the stand explained how the desserts were made, and dine-in and takeaway options at the nearby flagship restaurant.

Rooting for Racines - Edit
Racines has a large selection of delicious looking vegan / plant-based snacks. I tried their vegan sandwich (black bread with smoked carrots, avocado and zucchini CHF 7.-) and their cranberry cookie (CHF 4.-). They were good and I’m definitely coming back to try other dishes.

J'ai testé ce restaurant full végan et j'ai été déçu. J'avais choisi une part de quiche aux légumes avec un jus pressé Peach Ginger. Je n'ai pas aimé la pâte de la quiche et le jus était très fort en gingembre, je ne sentais même pas la carotte et la pêche. Mon copain avait choisi le sandwich focaccia avocat et lui non plus n'a pas aimé, il a trouvé que le pain était trop épais. Après les plats sont vraiment beau esthétiquement, mais le goût l'est moins.

The food was fine, but portions was small. There was too many people and too little space, so it was very noisy. The place isn't bad, but if you want enjoying your meal in a calm cosy atmosphere, I would recommend some other place.

Great Buddha Bowl, carrot cake and quiche! We went here twice during our time in Lausanne. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. ❤️ There are also items you can take to go if you are going on a picnic or day trip and do not have time to sit.
Read moreMy mother in law is not vegan and got a soup and a pastry, she thought the soup had a very odd taste. Maybe it is best for non-vegans to stick to the more traditional menu items like lasagne and the Buddha Bowl when coming here.

Personnel très sympathique et extrêmement serviable. Malheureusement peu de places assises mais lieu très cosy et chaleureux. Nous y sommes arrêtés pour prendre le thé et déguster quelques pâtisseries qui sont succulentes (et chères). Les plats ont l’air d’être aussi très appétissants. Et les suggestions de petit déjeuner donne l’eau à la bouche; pancakes, croissants... Bio, même le café! Des plats prêts à l’emporter également.

I loved the idea of this small, central, lovely cafe that's vegan and where stuff is home made. But I had a soup that was very small although relatively expensive, and tasted weird. The bread was lovely though, and their salads and desserts looked nice, can't judge of the taste.
