This is the best vegan Italian food I've ever had. Caprese salad got the flavors and textures exactly right. Calzone was delicious, and the cacio e pepe was exactly right. Tiramisu was a lovely end to the meal. Since going vegan almost 20 years ago I have never had this kind of authentic food done so well. Atttentive service too.

I absolutely love Pura vita, I even plan to have it a future wedding or event. You can’t go wrong with any options here, but the cashew ricotta, buffalo cauliflower, and spaghetti are my personal favorites. It’s one of the few nice sit down fully vegan places. It does cost a pretty penny but a great bday or celebration place.

Best vegan Italian in LA - Edit
Ever since Sestina in Culver City closed, this place has become my go-to for upscale vegan Italian. I prefer the Redondo location because they have a full bar, but this one is good too! The Caesar salad and mozzarella sticks are my favorite appetizers so far. Unfortunately the garlic knots were too similar to funnel cake and not garlicky enough, I wouldn’t recommend them. The pastas and pizzas are great.

This dinner was amazing. I had the special which was a lasagne dish that was insane. Appetizers - Grilled Broccolini and Potato Wedges. My daughter had the Penne Arrabbiata, and she raved about it. Everything was delicious, and I can’t wait to go back.

Had some prosecco then a lovely glass of Sicilian Pinot Noir that was delightful. Ended the meal with a scoop of pistachio gelato. Totally recommend when in WeHo!!!

This was my second favorite place in LA. Their pizza menu was extensive and hard to choose, so I ended up with the 'San Gennaro', and it had the best cashew mozzarella I've ever tasted. It was so creamy and rich. It had great Italian sausage, fennel, peppers, onions, and fennel pollen. The crust was also incredible. This is a must stop in West Hollywood, and you will definitely be impressed. Like everything in Los Angeles, it was pricey, bit worth it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is beautiful!

My daughter and I were in LA in Aug & had dinner at Pura Vita in WEHO. The pasta was amazing, but the appetizers and dessert stole the show for me. We were lucky to meet Chef Punzone while we were there. She has great energy & a great team. The customer service was excellent.

Super thin Pizza, with a fluffy soft crust topped with amazing cashew cheese, fennel and sausage crumble. Really enjoyed this. We also had some sauteed greens, which was tasty though a little oily. We got the red pepper pasta, which was just bland. There was too much oil, which probably diluted the flavor and it had no veggies or toppings to give a texture enhancement.

I was so hyped to try this restaurant and was very disappointed. The pizza tasted like nothing and fell apart. The cheese sticks weren’t good, luckily there was marinara sauce. The only thing that was okay was the chocolate pizza, but it was burned… It cost so much and my boyfriend and I didn’t like one single thing. It’s very rare that I give such a bad review, but this place was not it.
