Amazing Food And Environment - Edit
The food was absolutely amazing. I brought my grandpa here, who is a non-vegan, and he thought the food was great and wanted to bring some of his other family here. I was so surprised at how the Orzo Alfredo’s cashew cream did not taste like cashew at all. If I hadn’t known better, I’d have thought it was the real thing. I got the Matcha mocktail, which was made with a base of coconut milk, and it was absolutely amazing. For dessert, I split the peach cobbler with my grandpa, and all I can say was that it went fast.
Read moreThe outside of the restaurant is very misleading to how the inside looks. The first floor is like a club and it has a bar that seemed popular. The second floor is a quieter atmosphere but I quite enjoyed it. It still had a slight club vibe. The staff were very tentative and extremely friendly. My waitress put a smile on my face and put me in a wonderful mood.
This restaurant needs to be opened up in many different places!!

Delicious lasagna - Edit
Had the wings as a starter (to share) but they were too spicy for my taste. Ordered the lasagna as main dish, that was DELICIOUS!

Lovely atmosphere - Edit
I’ve eaten here twice now and always enjoy the vibe of the restaurant. I wish the menu was a bit bigger, what they offer is nice and well done, if relatively simple vegan food, and the portions are very small. Appetizers are really not sharing size, I think the buffalo “wings” had 3-4 pieces! I went here with 3 other friends and we had to order 4 appetizers because each one that came out barely fed us and we were waiting for our third guest to arrive 30 minutes after us.

Fantastic Beyond Burger options and staff - Edit
This is a brilliant place to eat vegan but more importantly Beyond Burgers. Try the truffle oil fries. Fabulous. The staff like other places attracting vegan orientated people, fantastic.

In love - Edit
Do yourself a favor and GET THE TRUFFLE FRIES! I got a whiff of these as a waiter took some to neighboring table as I was being seated. I had to have them - they are to die for! The staff was very friendly and attentive and both my sister and I were more than pleased with our orders. I hope to try items from either the brunch or dinner menu during my next trip.

Underwhelmed. - Edit
I've heard great things about this place and love their mission of donating profits to charity. Unfortunately my friend and I (both of us vegan) were pretty disappointed.
Read moreWe went for brunch and I planned on ordering the breakfast plate (tofu scramble, kale, mushrooms, toast with tomato jelly) but after seeing it come to the table next to us the portions were so miniscule (the ppl next to us even commented on it too) I decided to go for a BBQ Beyond Burger.
My friend got the prix fix brunch with avocado toast and biscuits and gravy. The toast was great but to charge $15 for those tiny hunks of bread is sinful! And the biscuits and gravy were two tiny, not good biscuits swimming in a mushroom flavored soup (aka "gravy"). The mushroom concoction was good but not gravy.
The BBQ burger was amazing though, one of the best burgers I've had (really depends how its cooked), topped with caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, and cheese. So good. The fries it was served with did not live up to the burger though, they were clearly frozen fries ala McDonald's. Womp.
Otherwise the interior was nice if dark, service was great, and we were able to get a table immediately on a Saturday at prime brunch time which is no small feat in NYC.
However, there are frankly much better options in NYC. I felt like the price was way too high for quality and portions. I don't mind paying more for a quality meal out, but it just wasn't really creative or impressive in any way. There are other places where you can spend the same price and get a truly amazing and unique meal. It's nice that there is a vegan restaurant in the theater district but otherwise I would not come out of my way to go here.
Pros: Delicious beyond burger, Nice calm interior, All vegan
Cons: Expensive, Miniscule portions, Not impressive food

This is an upscale vegan restaurant a couple of blocks from Times Square, right in the theater district. They have small and large plates, and the ones we had we quite good. Delicious lasagna was my entree. And the desserts are fabulous! Make a reservation is you want to be sure to get in.

Sweet Idea - Edit
The food is good. Everything we tried was lovely. We went between shows, and the staff was very accommodating, despite the busy nature of the restaurant that day, they got us in and out in the right amount of time, without making us feel rushed. My companion enjoyed her meal, and we would return.

Ate lunch there, went back for dinner! - Edit
My wife and I had lunch there and it was so good we made reservations to come back for dinner! For lunch she had the chickpea salad sandwich and I had the the maple roasted honeynut squash sandwich. While both were good, we agreed the chickpea was better. For dinner we both had the lasagna, and I can't stress this enough, GET IT! It was amazing! For dessert I had the cheesecake and she had the Apple cobbler... Both delicious!!

Phenomenal plant based cuisine - Edit
We stopped by for a late brunch. The French toast was out of this world and the bbq burger was hearty and delicious. The almond coffee was well made and hit the spot. Gorgeous setting, great service and proceeds to a good cause. Will definitely be returning here again.
Read moreUpdate! On our return we had the chickpea salad sandwich, which was served on a delicious Turkish style bread and with a huge tasty salad. My partner had the hotdog on a pretzel bun with their signature fries. More almond coffee. More great service.

Delicious food, Great vibe, Friendly staff — but not a 5 star - Edit
This is a nice airy establishment with great tasting vegan food. The portions were just right and presentation was well done. Fresh flowers on the tables is a nice touch as well. I also like how profits are all donated to charities (applause for that). A water bottle with mint sprigs was left on the table and was quite refreshing. We order apps, entrees and dessert. While not “out of this world” good, it was certainly delicious.
Read moreSo why not 5 stars? I told the waiter I had a gluten allergy and asked what in the menus I could eat. He suggested a few items and I decided I would go with the burger wrapped in lettuce (instead of bun). It was very good. However, it came with fries. My fault for not asking before eating to validate if the fries were cooked in the same oil as other gluten products. Unfortunately it was and I ate a few before finding this out. I paid dearly for this for many days.
Again, while I take accountability for my lack of inquiry, I will say that in this day all wait staff should be properly trained in food allergy’s and cross contamination. So for this, they loose a star.
Pros: Great atmosphere , Courteous and professional staff in a casual way, Tasty food
Cons: Limited menu for those with allergies , Pricey , Allergy contamination

Great tasting great looking food, well balanced, interesting menu. Lovely venu- a comfortable place to spend time. Several options are bread based and no gluten free alternative was offered. Also sadly quite expensive so we left without trying the dessert (16 dollars seemed steep) but expect it would be delicious too
