Over priced and terrible food....but great ambiance - Edit
I really wanted to love this place! Ambiance. What they are doing to help others! The chef needs to try more cooking classes. Pretty good. Really bad food combining! Ack!

Great brunch spot - Edit
The PS brunch special was delicious. And the truffle fries---yum! Profits go toward restoring those affected by human trafficking. Great tea selections, and they serve oat milk along with the usual.

Extra star for the cause! - Edit
The restaurant is really cute and food was delicious. It's a little more pricey especially if you had drinks so wouldve given it 4 stars BUT they give all their profit to charity!!! How incredible, just for that I cant even think of leaving less than a perfect note.

Nicest vegan restaurant! - Edit
Absolutely delicious meal with beautiful vegan food. So many choices, I haven’t spent that long looking at a menu in a long time!

Spectacular - Edit
We had drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. Everything was outstanding. As good a vegan meal as we've had in Manhattan, and we've eaten everywhere. Excellent service, albeit a bit slow.

Not for everyone - Edit
I like that this is a nonprofit restaurant, but they need to work on their menu. Almost everything has soy in it, and almost everything has Beyond meat products in it. Also, not a healthy place. I can see why some would like this place, because it is unhealthy tasty food. But if you eat health-focused, eating here is not good. The maitake baos, the glazed mushrooms are deep fried! It doesn’t say this on the menu. Anything deep fried is not healthy, especially paired with white flour. Also, the lasagne could be healthy, but they add Beyond ground beef that has been stir fried before adding to the lasagne. From the menu, you’d think it was just tofu and spinach. For us, we didn’t enjoy our meal here, but I’m sure others would if you eat whatever and eat for just taste.

"vegan food in nyc" that's how we ended up here - Edit
I've tasted one of the burgers, the lasagna and the Caesar salad. The dressing is amazing and I've discovered I actually like capers. Regarding the burger,I didn't really like it but I'm usually not a big fan of the Beyond Meat. I had two take-aways and I've waited for 10/15 minutes, I was offered some water and a seat at the bar. A little bit pricy but this is really (really) good food and all the profits go to charity. I highly recommend! If my holidays weren't coming to an end, I would have tasted the whole menu.

My new favorite restaurant in NYC. They have an amazing mission for being good vibes and food to the world. All my non-veg friends also like it and even go back by themselves.

Just off the Disney Magic doing a NYC vegan crawl. First stop is P.S. and not sure I want to leave. All vegan and profits go to charity. Great food, wine, WiFi, and outlets for days. The truffle fries are excellent. Beyond Meat on pretzel buns. YUMMMM!

Amazing fully vegan food! - Edit
Took my 2 meat-eating friends here and they loved it! Heaps of delicious options of classic non-vegan foods like pasta, burgers etc. A little bit pricy, but considering the location & in NY it’s reasonable!

Good food, attentive staff - Edit
The staff are friendly and welcoming, after we were seated it was all a bit rushed. Maybe because most people want to eat and go to a show?
Read moreThe food was good but not great, due to the location Broadway pricing is also ok.
Pot pie was under seasoned for my taste, potato soup also lacked seasoning or complexity.
Truffle fries were good.
I was surprised a restaurant like this do Beyond
Meat and don’t make their own patties, that seems like a cop out. I did not try them so should not judge. And the demand seemed to be there.
Pros: All vegan, Friendly, Great concept and philosophy
Cons: Slightly rushed, A bit bland

Great food! - Edit
An absolute gem of a place. My non vegan husband loved the PS burger, my Colombian potato soup was lovely and the chocolate brownie was lush, enough for 2 to share.I was surprised to struggle to find decent vegan food in Manhattan but this was my best meal in my ten days here. Not overpriced either, despite being around the corner from Times Square.

Amazing plant-based, non-profit restaurant - Edit
Our party of 6 had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in July 2019 and it is wonderful. It prices were inline with other plant based venues in NYC and I will definitely return. We all ordered different meals and each was delicious. Do yourself a favor an dine here soon. Best part: ITS A NON-PROFIT!

Great food, High price, small portions - Edit
Food was tasty, but it was more expensive than usual to eat here. I had a 76$ dinner for 2, which included 1 appetizer, 1 burger, 1 salad, and 1 brownie dessert. My appetizer was a much smaller portion than expected. Maybe my date and I were just really hungry, but we both agreed we were still quite hungry afterwards. Don’t get me wrong, it was good food, but I would probably not come back soon for the price when other awesome vegan options are nearby for a much better price.

Great for lunch - Edit
This completely vegan place with all profits going to charity is a great place to eat. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The BBQ seitan sandwich was really tasty and the truffle fries lovely. The Buffalo maitake sandwich was a little tangy for our taste but we are not good on tangy/spicy flavours so this is an individual preference. The food was served quickly and the portions are a great size.

The food is delicious but maybe not the best place for those on a budget. It’s certainly worth it if you do get a chance to go though. The service and atmosphere are really cool. I’d definitely go again but probably only on special occasions.
