All delicious, enough vegan options (but not a lot for brunch). I took the grilled cheese and cinnamon roll. The pancakes in the photo are not vegan.

Vegan soup was not vegan - Edit
I ordered the clearly labels vegan soup from the menu, but it came with egg floating in it and dairy butter for the bread roll.
Read moreOH seemed happy with vegan meal they had but I was no longer hungry so went without.
Staff did apologise and din’t charge, and I had a free drink. I think they were surprised as I was (but it felt like they didn’t know there own menu)

Careful when ordering vegan - Edit
Service really pleasant, & location perfect if visiting the fort. My pulled p*rk bao buns were nice (if a little heavy on the hot mayo). However we also ordered the soup which the menu said was vegan. When we started to eat the soup it had half a boiled egg in it!
Read moreOn asking the server she didn’t know that the menu showed the soup as vegan, as it was a special only for 6 weeks of the year. Even so it should have been mentioned that asparagus soup was vegetarian and not as per the menu when we ordered. There was no option to have a new soup without the egg.
However she refunded the meal & one of our drinks, so it shouldn’t happen to others now they are aware, but do be mindful when ordering any item to check it is vegan & not veggie

Nice interior, decent food - Edit
Nice place for breakfast, lunch or a coffee with something sweet. It's located not too far from the city center. I like the interior here. Staff is super friendly.
Read moreI guess we were a bit unlucky as there was a group of 9 directly behind us, and as you can imagine they were a bit loud. It also took about 45 minutes for our lunch to be served, which was probably also due to the fact that the large group had ordered just before we did.
I had the pita swarma which was good,but not special. I would argue that the portion size was rather small. My brother had the bao bun which was a better portion size. The cinnamon rolls were delicious though and quite large. They even reheated them in the oven before serving, which was nice.
The coffee here is good and I really liked the pumpkin spiced latte as well. I think the prices are fair.
All in all, they have a fair amount of vegan options, the food is quite good and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Would recommend. It can get really busy during the weekend at lunchtime so reservation is recommended. Also it's quite small and if its busy it can get a bit loud.
Pros: Good amount of vegan options , Delicious pumpkin spiced latte , Friendly staff and nice interior
Cons: Service can be a bit slow , Portion sizes are rather small

Cosy spot to drop by for coffee & cake - Edit
We popped by late in the morning for coffee and cake before taking a walk at Sint-Pietersberg. We didn’t get to try their lunch menu. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit Pleur Foodbar, I would recommend stopping by if you’re around/if you’re also heading to/coming back from Sint-Pietersberg. We had a cappuccino with oat milk, chai latte with oat milk and we shared a vegan cheesecake. The coffee they serve comes from Blanche Dael, a local coffee roaster, and is very nice. The chai latte was perfect, not too sweet. The cheesecake (from Miss Baksel) was probably the best vegan cheesecake we had. It was light and airy, flavor was subtle.

Read moreThe place had different vegan cakes to choose from and also offered oat milk. I tried the vegan cheesecake that had a raspberry layer on top and was really creamy and delicious.
Also liked the interior and that there were a lot of plants and brick walls.
Maybe it's a bit on the pricey end but otherwise a really nice café for some simple lunch or coffee with cake.

As the end of a long walk of the Pieterpad, this was a nice place to relax.
Unfortunately, all the vegan pastries were already gone (this can be a good sign), but the homemade oat chocolate milk and the oat 'bar' tasted great!

Nice seating, friendly staff and good food. I had the vegan pulled porck which was very good. It‘s not cheap but completely reasonable concidering that food in the Netherlands is always a bit more expensive. I‘d go there again😄

Delicious veggie High Tea - Edit
Went here on a friday afternoon for a vegetarian high tea. The staff was super nice, lots of tea flavours to choose from and the food was great! Very tasty soup, sandwiches, wraps, cakes and more. Would definetly recommend this place!
