Great food and cozy atmosphere - Edit
We went there for lunch and ate the Bao buns, Ravioli anf Tortilla. Everything was amazing. Staff is very nice and we also liked the living room Like atmosphere.

Is it the price-portion ratio the issue? From my own experience, a 3 course meal + drink is about 50 euro. I don't think that is too much for the quality & location.

Really good, highly recommend, the menu seems to change every so often and they offer a great variety of dishes/cuisines. It's a bit expensive, like everywhere in Maastricht, but thr flavours are great. Not many places you can find a vegan milkshake, and it's really tasty 😊🥤🌿

We really enjoyed eating there! I especially liked the variety of different dishes on the menu - there should be something for everyone! We had the Cauliflower wings as a starter and then spaghetti carbonara and the stew with mashed potatoes for our mains. I would definitely recommend ordering a starter as the portions were not the biggest (especially for the stew). But that's not a problem at all since the starters and dessert all sounded so good and you can try more😄Also, there is easy street parking right in front.

We went there to have lunch and it was really nice. Had the tarte tatin with chicory, the pasta alfredo and the kapsalon. It was all really tasty. The coffee was good as well but it would be nicer if we had been offered different milk choices. The place was a bit noisy despite only two other customers being there so the accoustics are not ideal. Overall, it was really good and we had non-vegans in our group who marveled about the food!

A very nice restaurant serving wonderful food in a relaxed atmosphere. My wife and I have been vegan for five years and are always on the lookout for good vegan restaurants as they are so rare. Bar Verde succeeds our expectations. The menu offers comfort food. We had kofta for starters which were extraordinary tasty with a surprising texture. Our main course was Tortilla with thin slices of Seitan in combination with tatziki: great taste. The desert - vanilla ice cream- was delicious.

For the main course, we tried the tortilla (with kebab and mushrooms) and Alfredo pasta. All were fantastic, especially the Alfredo sauce, which was wonderfully creamy and impressively realistic.

Bar Verde heeft een wat kleinere kaart dan de meeste restaurants, maar als je het eten proeft, snap je waarom. Het eten is heerlijk, bijna alles is huisgemaakt, en de verrassende smaakcombinaties zijn echt next level.
Read moreIk ben persoonlijk niet zo'n jackfruit-fan, maar de jackfruit-rendang heeft me laten inzien dat dat misschien meer aan mijn eigen kookkunsten ligt dan aan jackfruit zelf. De tarte tatin van witlof met rieslingsaus was een schot in de roos. Zelf zou ik nooit op zo'n combinatie gekomen zijn, maar mijn hemel wat was dit lekker. Als ik de rest van mijn leven nog maar één ding zou mogen eten, zou het dat zijn.
Het enige waar ik wat minder tevreden over was, was het opnemen van de bestelling. We wilden eigenlijk het drinken, voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht tegelijk bestellen, maar de bediening was meteen weg nadat we de drankjes hadden opgenoemd. Bij het bestellen van het voorgerecht gebeurde hetzelfde. Overigens was de bediening wel heel vriendelijk zonder nep en opdringerig over te komen.
Al met al was mijn ervaring bij Bar Verde heel fijn. Enorm lekker eten voor een zachte prijs, met een klein voorkeursdingetje qua bediening. Hier ga ik voortaan vaker naartoe!

Bar verde is een zeer mooie en moderne zaak in Maastricht. Eigenares Celina is super vriendelijk en zorgt dat alles in orde komt. Bovendien is al het eten heel lekker en 100% vegan. Onze favoriete zijn de vegan hotdog en kapsalon. Ook zeker dessert nemen, de tiramisu is heerlijk. Er zijn ook verschillende zelfgemaakte mocktails. Een zaakje om terug te gaan.
