We arrived a little bit before closing and they were super fast and delicious. The chips were amazing (came in a little bag) - crisp and thick. Our tacos had so much flavor. The cheese and sauce were perfect.

Plantaqueria was so delicious! We tried a lot of different things and everything was awesome. Idk what the vegan cheese they use for the quesadillas is, but it is insanely good, melts perfectly. The agua frescas have real fruit pieces and are delicious too. Elote portion was bigger than I expected and also good! And the corn tortillas are amazingggg, they don’t break and they are the perfect thickness.

This is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m sort of a Mexican food snob so that’s high praise from me! I loved the hand made tortillas! The beans. The Birra Queso tacos with the consommé for dipping was swoon worthy! Truly incredible food! You must check it out when in San Antonio!

The corn tortillas they make are so good. Thick and delicious. Plenty of fillings to choose from. I tried the jackfruit, soy chicken, refried beans, eggs and potatoes. All very good. The horchata coffee blend was perfect. Not too sweet. Juice was too sweet for my taste.

The food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very good. I find many plant based restaurants are quite pricey but not plantequeria. This restaurant is all plant based.

I had the vegan quesadilla. It was full of vegan cheese and meat substitute. It was good although lacking in vegetables. I also had a watermelon agua fresca which was sweet and had real fruit in it.

All the food is so incredibly delicious and everything is a good price!!! I would definitely recommend the mini tacos and watermelon refresher but seriously everything is great!!! If you are near by definitely check it out!!!

You have to stop here, it’s way too good, and they have a super friendly staff. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, homemade tortillas were delicious and loved both house made hot sauces. I’ll be coming back for sure!

What a bright spot for a vegan visiting TX! I brought skeptical meat eaters and they loved it. We ordered numerous things and everything was fantastic. Terrific staff too. Always love supporting fully vegan spots rather than a place that is barely doing the minimum for us.

We LOVED this place! The people working were SO friendly! They have several protein options for their tacos. You can add extra toppings. The horchata was amazing and it was so great getting to try it since I've never seen it before as a vegan option. My kids are so many of the popsicles. It was all just so great!

We are staying on the Riverwalk and ate breakfast here every day on vacation. The breakfast tacos, La Lucha, is a great vegan breakfast, and it leaves room for a Voodoo Donut afterwards, which is only a block away.

Read moresolo. I’m in San Antonio for a convention, and believe me, getting my crowd to have a vegan meal is not going to happen. Anyway, bottom line, it was worth the walk! I had the four mini tacos, two with portobello, and two with carne asada. I also got a side of the charro beans. I basically poured the piping hot beans all over the tacos and ate them like an entree. I am a person who likes to finish my food, and I will sometimes stuff myself to misery in the process. I could not finish my meal, it was just too much! The food was very tasty, though a little heavy on the salt. I deducted a star because I just don’t like eating with disposable plasticware. It’s a small place, and I went just before 5:00 pm and was the only one there. I was glad to see there was a dine-in option. Prices were fair, I think it was $21 including 20% tip. The emailed receipt has not made it to my inbox yet.
Pros: Flavor, Vegan only options 👍
