Best birria tacos ever - Edit
This was my second visit to Plantaqueria while here in San Antonio for work. The first time I got three regular tacos thinking they would maybe be aittle bigger than street tacos but they were large and filling. I wasn't able to eat all three.
Read moreToday I did their street taco plate. I got two jackfruit barbacoa and two jackfruit birria. They're simple with just the jackfruit, onion, and cilantro. I added a bit of the two sauces they offer. They were outstanding. The birria tacos are probably the best vegan tacos I've ever eaten.
I also had the Sandia.. watermelon agua fresco and that was fantastic as well.
Pros: Great protein options, Great flavors, Affordable for the portions

Small place when I went, but the food is oh so flavorful! I got almost every kind of breakfast taco to split and they had horchata! Great to have an all vegan place to really shine veggies used in creative ways 😁

I had the carne asada quesadilla and Mexican rice. The quesadilla was perfect and delicious! The rice was super flavorful, but the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the texture. It was really mushy, like Thai sticky rice. But the taste was great so I still enjoyed it. The food didn’t take long at all.😄

Excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. Everything we had here was great, but don't overlook the aguas frescas or charro beans! Everyone was friendly and service was pretty quick for the volume of people. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I had no idea how bomb this place's food was!! I've been hearing about them for a long time but only just recently got delivery from them by Uber Eats. Their location being downtown is the main reason I haven't tried them but when I realized I could get delivery? Um yes please! They have so many different tacos, barbacoa, egg and bean, egg and cheese, so many! So many options! Try these guys now, ASAP! You won't be disappointed!

I went 3 times and every time was amazing. The food, atmosphere and service was outstanding. Quesadillas and Birria tacos as well as Breakfast tacos. I told so many people from our conference, and we all ended up there for lunch.

Breakfast tacos for $3-$4, I got a torta with carne asada for $12 and a side of beans. Not cheap, but quite reasonable prices for the quality of food! Would reccomend and I will definitely be back

I was so excited to find this gem right by our hotel. I had two breakfast tacos, the Frida and a potato, egg and cheese. Both tacos were delicious and filling. The staff was friendly and were happy to answer any questions about the menu.

The perfect balance between delicious and healthy, no wonder this all vegan taqueria is a hit. We ordered the quesadilla, two tacos, and the brewchata. All were delicious but the quesadilla stole the show! We even got some tacos to go as we wanted to try everything.
