Always delicious - Edit
Food is always good, large portion sizes and staff are friendly. Food is kind of expensive for Korea, but for the amount that you get, I think it's quite good value. Tried cakes, stews, noodles and burgers- all has been tasty.

Ethusastic staff, great food. - Edit
I have been to Plant three times now and I've not had less than a great experience. Depending on what sort of food you want, Plant has great options for everything from the vastly indulgent burgers and cakes and Mac and cheese to the healthy and delicious mains like their curries and stews.
Read moreThe staff are always very friendly and seem genuinely passionate about the food, the mix of whole food and Vegan junk food classics makes for a refreshing change from vegan restaurants that only target one style.
Their tempeh sandwiches and wraps are super good, and if you don't get either I strongly suggest ordering their smoky tempeh on the side just so you don't miss it.
Their burgers are great, a little on the soft side compared to what a lot of places are going for on their burgers, but it feels like a much cleaner burger than I'm used to at restaurants now, so I don't walk away feeling full of rubbish. Their cheeses seem to be mostly made in house and all hit the spot, especially a fan of their mozzarella they put on some of the burgers.
I think that regardless of how unhealthy your dish sounds (smothered burgers and creamy Mac and cheese) because the components are all made in house, the whole experience feels very clean and not full of oils etc, without compromising on the taste.
I will definitely be back to Plant as soon as I land in Seoul again.

Great place for a vegan experience! - Edit
I highly recommend visiting this place for some delicious vegan food - I was there with my parents and both of them enjoyed the food and they are non-vegan. I ordered lentil bowl, my mother plant cheeseburger and my father creamy fettuccine. Only thing that my mother said was that the burger was a bit bland. For dessert we had snickers tart carrot cake. I also tried for the first time vegan eggnog - it was very good! The service was very friendly and welcoming.

Great menu! It's awesome that they have snack options. I got Bowl of hummus with toast. The bread tastes good and pairs great with hummus. It's a bit grainy for hummus, but it only means its homemade.

Tons of good food and cakes. All vegan! I recommend the breakfast burrito and the TLT (tempeh BLT). This place used to have the most reviews in all of Seoul but they all seem to have disappeared?

What happened to the reviews? - Edit
Plant used to be the most reviewed and most popular vegan restaurant in Seoul. It still is the most popular, but lots of reviews seem to be gone. In any case, you should definitely visit for a fully western vegan restaurant experience. Delicious food at decent prices, although the desserts are quite pricy. Always fun decorations inside too!

Great Western-style Vegan Food - Edit
I couldn't wait to visit Plant since becoming a vegan, and it exceeded my expectations! I went with my vegetarian boyfriend and omnivore Korean friend and we all loved it!
Read moreThe menu is all in English! Perhaps they have a Korean menu, but even my Korean friend was given the English menu. She was so surprised, "Is this Korea!?" We ordered the new fall menu stew, the rainbow wrap, and the lentil bowl. The stew was tomatoy and smokey, totally yummy and served with rice. My rainbow wrap was fantastic though the tortilla could've been better. The lentil bowl was also very tasty, but, to be honest, reminded me of stuff I made back in the USA so it wasn't totally mind-blowing for me. We also ordered the chili cheese fries. I loved the cheese and the fries but wasn't a huge fan of the chili/salsa.
We also ordered the PSL (pumpkin spice latte). It was HEAVEN and served with a giant cinnamon stick, a strawberry milkshake (very sweet!) and a raspberry smoothie. Keep in mind these flavors are VERY western, so they may not appeal to people with a more Korean style of taste (my friend didn't enjoy the overly sweet milkshake and felt the food was a little too salty for her liking).
Overall, I couldn't believe how full I was. Usually when I eat at Western places, the portions are a bit smaller, so I ordered accordingly (3 main dishes for 3 people plus an app to split). I was SO full after and we could hardly finish it all! What a great problem to have! I would encourage you to learn from our mistake and maybe start with only 1 dish per person haha.
I was also impressed that even though I had to write my name on a waiting list, I was given a table very quickly and the food came out quickly as well (after ordering at the counter). I highly recommend Plant!
Pros: Delicious, All vegan, Large portion
Cons: Expensive

Tasty food, but wish I ordered something other than a burger - Edit
The burgers here are very much suited to people who prefer healthy foods, as it was a VERY healthy burger. The regular Plant burger I got was full of alfalfa sprouts and salad, and the pattie itself was made from lentils and beans. I found the pattie to be a bit dry for my taste, and overall needed a bit more flavour to it.
Read moreI was disappointed I didn't get to go back because I was very curious about their pastas and other options. The food was still very high quality, its just that I prefer my burgers to be less on the healthy clean-food side.
The staff were SUPER lovely and welcoming though, and it was a really nice space to sit in. I'd definitely recommend trying it out!
Pros: High quality food, Very healthy flavours, Super nice staff
Cons: Burger wasn't exactly to my taste

A classic - Edit
Western vegan restaurant - great choice of cakes, food : salad, pasta, sandwiches. I have been a follower since the beginning when it was at the other small location.
Read moreThe new location is more lively, easier to find from subway.
This review is from my last visits and will update.
Pumpkin spice latte: one of the best I have tried. Spicy, not overly sweet and you can taste the pumpkin.
Raw pumpkin cake: had a weird taste. Not sure what it was but it didn t taste any pumpkin, more a spice I ignore the name (maybe muscade? Too much of it).
Suggestion: how about making house made nut milk instead of the store bought one packed with gums and additives? The almond meal left could be used in pastries.
Pros: Location, Great choice, Best pumpkin spice latte
Cons: Pricey

The Classic - Edit
To me, Plant is one of the first vegan restaurants I have known in Seoul. They have expanded a lot and have become so popular, it's sometimes quite noisy in here,
Read moreThey offer classic (Western) foods, e.g. burgers, pasta and stews, that have been veganized. I love the creative way, they interpret e.g. Mac&Cheese into a vegan version with pumpkin sauce and fermented beans!
Their bakery products are awesome - frosted cakes, that are so fluffy and rich, its hard to tell that they are vegan! Vegan comfort food and junk food all at once, YAY! :)
Staff is always friendly and cheery, a fun atmosphere overall.
Prices are a bit higher than local Korean foods, however.
Pros: excellent food, large menu
Cons: pricey, noisy at times
