Food was very good. Traditional Chinese style. Lots of fried things in oil though. But still it was good. I wish the dishes had come with rice or something though. I only got two things so I can’t fairly judge. Fried dumplings and enoki fried mushrooms. Very good.

Cozy little space in itaewon. My friend and I ordered the fried enokitake mushrooms and the cold tan tan noodles. If I could give this place 6 stars I would just for the friendly service (and of course the delicious and thoughtful menu)

A wonderful restaurant with fantastic food! The staff are so nice and eager to help you order! The food comes out very quickly and is packed full of flavour! They also have a great drinks menu with vegan wines, beers and cocktails as well as non alcoholic versions. It also seems to have a Michelin star without the prices attached to a typical Michelin starred restaurant.

I’ve been there twice. Food is really tasty but for 20 000 won meals you always have to buy rice extra(??) yeah it’s only 2 000 won, but mini dishes have rice included. Honestly a bit disappointing. However mapo tofu is really good, highly recommend (don’t forget to order rice for it 😕). Donuts were fine, but if you want to try best donuts in Seoul check out my other reviews (spoiler: it’s Veganature)

Read moreI’m obsessed with black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon), but they almost always contain pork at non-vegan restaurants—so I had to get it! They lost my reservation and we were a little rushed since a private party was coming in 40 minutes, but I’m so glad we got to try it!

Alt.a is a smaller eatery with delicious food. The staff was also really friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried a few different dishes and definitely recommend the Black Bean Paste Veef noodles. I hadn’t had anything like it before and found it really satisfying. #Veganuary

We went out with 3 people on a Wednesday evening, and we could just walk in. They don't have lots of seating so I guess if it's a busy night you need to reserve or wait. Which I can fully imagine that it gets busy because the food is really great! My wife has been fully vegetarian for 15 years, and I'm just starting to become fully vegetarian and I wish this restaurant would be everywhere around the world because the food is superb. We shared the black bean and mapo tofu and the taste was spot on what I was used to. The mapo tofu was properly spiced, so be careful if you can't handle spicy food.

Holy crap, so good. I got the veef japchae and fried pot stickers to go and both are amazing. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out at lightning speed. The restaurant was full when I got there which is why I opted to take it back to my room. Everything held up perfectly for the 10 minute walk.

The jjamppong was amazing. A hot, comforting stew I didn’t know I needed. One of my favorite meals in Seoul! My friend ordered the sweet and sour “beef”. The “beef” itself was bland and the dish didn’t even come with rice—she had to order it separately.
