We came twice - Edit
First of all - the staff is incredible friendly. We felt so welcome!
Read moreThe food was so delicious, that we came here twice. We really understand why they are in the Michelin guide.
On the weekend there are a lot of people, so maybe it's better to do a reservation.

The first and the best Vegan Koreanized Chinese - Edit
We need more restaurants like this. I never get tired of all the menus over and over. Best food, best service, best staffs ever! Plant-based food company should be able to provide direct experiences to customers. Some menus are a bit pricy but tastes really good which is worthy to try. One of my favorite restaurant in town.

A really nice place, the food is really good and big portions (you can get takeaway boxes). They don't state they have gluten free options available, but they have a few, just ask.

high quality ingredients, great value for money but somewhat lacking in the seasoning department considering the michelin rating expected a tiny bit more😄

A Michelin Must-Visit if you’re Vegan in Seoul - Edit
Itaewon area restaurant with a 2025 Michelin nod. Have visited here multiple times each visit to Seoul. It’s that good. Shockingly affordable considering the exquisite taste and happening neighborhood it’s in.
Read moreWe ordered family-style and shared.
Chinese-Korean fusion. My non-vegan friends ask me if we can go here over and over again. Now they even go without me and send me food pics when they go.
You’re going to have to order the “Fried Veef with Sweet and Sour Sauce” whether you like it or not. I live for the sir fried eggplant and white soup. Keep reordering all 3 of these and then we try something new each time.
Busy, of course, because it’s so delicious. But fast turn over. Friendly staff.
Bathroom down the stairs. Need code.
You really HAVE TO come here every visit to Seoul. You’ll be sad if you don’t.

Best vegan food in Seoul - Edit
I went there three times when I was in Seoul and tried many different dishes.
Read moreEvery one of them was just so unbelievably good!
I can really recommend the fried enoki mushrooms, the portion was huge and the sour-spicy sauce just fits perfectly.
But I think my favourite was the Mapo Tofu or Stir-fried spicy eggplant. Be careful if you can't tolerate spice well because the eggplant is really spicy but so flavorful!
And the owner is so nice, she recognised us immediately when we came for the second and third time :)
Definitely worth a visit (or two) when visiting Seoul!

Unmissable - Edit
This fusion restaurant is incredibly good. Great fast service and top notch food. The menu is not vast (a sign of a good restaurant) but there's something for everyone. I had the jjajangmyeon and although a fairly simple dish, it was absolutely perfect, it had mushrooms and truffle, it wasn't too salty and the noodles were chewy. My family had mapo tofu (apparently the best vegan ones in the world but beware : it's spicy), and stir fried aubergine on rice, a very mild dish.

Amazing food and great hospitality! - Edit
The food is really delicious! The owner is also very careful that you have everything you need. The only downside is that the resturant is small and many love it so it can be crowded or even full any day at anytime. A must if you visit Seoul!

Honest taste and fair price - Edit
As one might expect about a restaurant featuring a Michelin Star, it can get pretty busy during lunch hour. Still, the staff remained friendly and found me a place somewhere in between. I had the vegan Black bean noodles which were great and in comparison to other vegan places nearby, the price was pretty fair. I would give it another try if I was nearby in Itaewon!

Great food, bit pricey - Edit
I had the cauliflower dish and the spicy stir-fried noodles, and I liked both. The ambiance is nice, and the staff was friendly. It’s more expensive than most other vegan places I’ve been to in Seoul.

Both the price and the portion sizes are fantastic.💚

Wonderful find - Edit
It has never been easy to find an excellent vegetarian meal in Seoul let alone vegan. The owner told me that something like 1% of the country is, though the new generation coming more so from health and social responsibility. Thus what a blessing this place is. Each dish was better, more authentic, fresher, local than the other. Superb. But what made it special is the warm, extremely solicitous staff who also spoke perfect English. It was a very special evening and I look forward to returning.

Great Korean vegan food - Edit
We had a great experience at alt.a in Seoul! We tried the mandu, black bean truffle noodles, and soybean paste noodles—everything was delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy with great texture, and each dish was well-balanced and flavorful.
Read moreService was fast and efficient—our food came out quickly and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The overall vibe of the place is modern yet comfortable, making it a great spot for a casual but high-quality meal.
One tip: they stop taking orders at 9 PM, so it’s best to arrive at least an hour before closing to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for creative noodle dishes and excellent service in Seoul!

Needs improvement - review based on 1 visit - Edit
I was a fan of their Dosan branch. Great food and delicious. Now I visited the itaewon brand and it was a disaster.
Read moreI tried their new menu item - veef kung pao and there’s also a cauliflower version of it. My review clearly is only about this dish.
It was not good, not eatable in fact. It has nothing to do with kung pao, had a weird yellow colour and all I could taste was oil and bad garlic (either burnt or old) and a lot of it. I don’t know if they don’t taste it or they fired their cook?
Maybe go with other dishes but this experience was so bad I won’t return
Apparently they got a Michelin
The veef wasn’t good either. It tasted like those granulated soy you soak in water.
Service was very friendly though! I feel bad leaving such a bad review but genuinely hope the other dishes are good and that they improve their food. Interior design is nice too and they have a terrace.

Disappointing restaurant - Edit
We were so underwhelmed with my friend after coming here. Reading all the great reviews, we were expecting quality dish. But it ended up being tasteless with a very weird texture (I had the “veel” and my friend another sort of fake meat). After 10 days of amazing vegan food in Seoul, that was a major letdown. And I’m not talking about the cost (so much more expensive than the other options in town).

Nice Atmosphere & Lovely staff, but not My Taste - Edit
I had high expectations for this restaurant, since they have a Michelin mention and I read many good reviews. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the food. The fried sweet and sour soy pieces mostly just tasted like oil and were quite greasy. The only real flavor came from the sauce. I didn’t like the other dishes much either.
Read moreThe service, however, was great! The staff were super friendly, and it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
