Open Mon-Sun 11:30am-10:30pm. Public holidays have Sat-Sun hours.

Great Osakan Cuisine - Edit
Really great Osakan cuisine! One of the troubles of being vegan in Japan is the lack of options and as lovely as some of the other vegan restaurants we tried were, they had lots of burgers and not as much “traditional” cuisine. Having just had a tour guide tell us about all this traditional Osakan food that we couldn’t eat, we found out that pretty much all of it was served here! Can’t speak highly enough of it, so nice to not have to miss out on any of the culinary culture just because we’re vegan! Also has really friendly staff who speak great English and an easy to use online order/menu system in English!

I went to Pivot with my family and... OM-SQUEE IT WAS SO GOODDDDDDDDD, we all shared a chicken cutlet, vegan gyoza, curry rice, french fries, standard takoyaki, maipo eggplant, and salted bread. The chicken cutlet was so good that we ordered 2 more servings. Next the vegan gyoza, it was perfect if you tried the soy sauce and red chili oil on top. Then we tried the curry rice and it was SOOOOO delicious 😋. The French fries were crispy on the outside and soft like a pillow on the inside. Next the takoyaki which I ordered, it was so good it was hard to believe it was vegan. All the workers were so kind🩷

We went one lunchtime and they were out of some stuff, but we had takoyaki and yakisoba. The takoyaki was kinda like a tasteless mushy ball of nothing but we figured fine, maybe we just don’t like takoyaki. The yakisoba was merely ‘ok’.

So we ordered some of the random stuff they did have (avoiding takoyaki of course), and once it just wasn’t very good. Greasy, soggy… stuff.

The food was delicious with plenty of options of different osakan cuisine! It was great to find a big vegan restaurant in dontonburi, as often vegan restaurants in Osaka are much smaller and less accessible. The staff were really friendly and spoke English very well.

Peaceful Place in a Bustling Location - Edit
We went after seeing how many high reviews there were and it didn’t disappoint. Just a head’s up, that they don’t take any cash, but you can pay with your Suica! It was so quiet and peaceful considering its prime location. We both have a lunch set with Yakisoba and it was delicious. Would highly recommend! Staff were also super lovely and are comfortable speaking English.

Super location within the busy shopping area is Namba. So much choice and the staff were super friendly. The takoyaki were very satisfying and wonderfully reminiscent of the real thing. The keema curry was a little sweet for my preference but argentin Japanese flavour. The cutlet was crunchy and tasty. A great little place to visit.

This is a wonderful vegan food option in a busy area, with a lovely inviting environment. However, the three food items that we ordered just weren't that tasty for us. In particular, the gyoza were quite flavourless. We would happily go back and try out some of the other items though.

Love the tonkotsu ramen, the tan tan ramen and the ham cutlet. when we got there they were out of regular cutlets and yakisoba so we didnt try them.

We ate at this spacious vegan cafe two times while in Osaka. The cafe is spacious and bright. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our meals were delicious. Today I enjoyed the Takoyaki Set and my husband had the Curry Set. We would return!
