Yummy brunch, a bit tight - Edit
The brunch menu was 4 courses including one hot drink (coffee-based drinks or tea) and one orange lemonade or prosecco.
Read moreThe food was very nice. The images hopefully give an indication of the quality. Everything was fresh and yummy.
The space was a little tight. You could either sit a bit crammed in a small room next to the main room or in the main room right by the window and sales area. It was more spacious there but also louder because the food and coffee was prepared there.
Contrary to what some people have said here, there is the possibility to ask to go to the toilet. But it isn't an official one and you can't lock the door. Which is fine, it's in the back and nobody but the owner who works in the front and knows you're there will enter.
The music was fantastic and the service marvelous.
You can definitely eat way way worse brunch for the same amount of money or more in Vienna so this was a pleasant experience.
Make sure to make a reservation, as there are only 9 chairs across 3 tables.
Mahlzeit!

Guter Brunch - Edit
Der Brunch ist sehr empfehlenswert, er wird nicht wie in anderen Restaurants als Buffet angeboten, sondern serviert. Die Speisen werden mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Exquisite deli food - Edit
I had the 'canape parade', three pieces of bread with different toppings: 'camembert' with fig mustard and nuts; carrot 'lox' with cream cheese, dill mustard, truffle 'caviar' and lemon; and 'prosciutto', horseradish, cucumber pickle, mayo and fried onion flakes. All were superb. A really special and unusual blend of flavours and textures that worked unbelievably well together. Also, because I swapped out the alcoholic drink for a lemon soda, my bill was reduced. The place is also a vegan delicatessen with some really interesting, high quality stuff for sale.

Amazing! - Edit
Wow the small plates were great, I tried all 3 options. The carrot lox is incredible, the Camembert delicious, and the prosciutto really tasty (as long as you like mustard/pickles). Not extremely expensive like other places in Vienna, and very friendly staff.

Pepper & Ginny in Vienna - Edit
This place sits down a gorgeous little street & we stumbled upon it accidentally despite being on our list of eats to go in Vienna. We had the camembert & lox canapés for starters and I was shocked how much it tasted like the original (almost brought home some of the cheese they have!) and we finished with the cheese toasty - cheesy crunchy goodness 😍🥰

Uncomfortable experience - Edit
Small vegan shop with a few options to eat. Not all ítems on the menu were available when we went.
Read moreWe ended up having a couple of sandwiches that were very tasty but also overpriced.
We were shocked by the fact that the place does not have a toillet, nor they offer any alternative.
Service was very slow, and we did not feel welcomed.

Really special - Edit
The canapes were so good, I'm still dreaming about them weeks later. There's also a wide selection of vegan cheeses and other products you can buy.
Read moreNote that there's not a lot of indoor seating and your only option is very high stools - as a short-ish person, climbing up was a bit of a challenge.

Cute hidden treasure - Edit
Charming and tiny, and is a perfect place for lunch. The grilled cheese with prosciutto is the best ever sandwich! Loved the trio platter as well, I think it's the Brie that makes one of them particularly delectable. Everything was so cute, and the owner was so sweet. I wish this was closer to me!

Perfect little spot for lunch - Edit
An absolute joy! We stumbled in our the first day of our vienna trip and were greeted warmly and had the best ever vegan cheese toasties. We came back on our last day for the canapes. Incredible. Its a small shop we one person working, so dont expect super past service. Definitely worth the wait.

The best thing we ate in Vienna - Edit
Pepper & Ginny was hands down the most delicious vegan food we ate in Vienna. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - a cheese toastie, several cheese loaded breads (the Camembert and cream cheese is out of this world incredible) and we could not fault a thing. We loved it so much we even grabbed ourselves some cheeses for the road to enjoy with a wine back in our hotel room later that day.
Read moreThe woman that runs the place is also absolutely delightful. Wishing we had this little gem back in Melbourne!
Pros: An oasis of cheese, World’s greatest cheese toastie, Wonderful staff

While all the options are vegan replacement foods, which I usually don't enjoy as much, everything was great was in no sense a bland and boring imitation.

Stopped by for something to eat as I was fairly hungry. The only menu item that sounded filling was the chili cheeze hotdog so I went with that. And it was just what I needed.

Vegan lax - Edit
I walked up here for a little snack. It was empty I would expect it to be a busy spot seen the comments. It’s a in cute little alley.
Read moreI ordered the lax snack and a hot dog. They had nice drinks but without toilets I didn’t order any. The prices were not cheap but worth the visit.
The lax was very good!! Just a few bites and I finished but wow and that cashew creamcheese and the caviar made it very special. Too bad it was such a small portion.
The hot dog was super yummy too. The bun, the sauce everything was perfect.
It’s not a place to fill up your belly with food. It’s more for a little snack and then it’s perfect.
The owner was friendly.
