I wanted to try something local, and I was recommended to try these. They taste good and the service was good too. The problem that I had is I couldn’t use my card here as they seem to only accepta specific type of card. So, if you’re not from Belgium, do not forget to bring cash. But aside from that, the experience was nice.

As a vegan Belgian, Pepas really fills a void. It feels just like a normal frituur, except everything is vegan! Staff is very friendly. Delicious fries and snacks. Try the stoofvlees sauce!

Everything from the fries to the snacks to the sauces are proper old school Belgian fry shack quality. The fries have been nice and crispy every time I've been (which has been a lot. The staff is always incredibly nice. Prices are comparable to a regular fry shack. An absolute must for every fry lover in Leuven.

The fries taste just as good or even better than regular ones, according to meat-eaters I've dined here with. Staff is friendly and variety excellent. Price, too, is reasonable. So nothing to complain about apart from the fact that you can't pay with (VISA) card, internationals, remember to bring cash. Vegan ice cream as an option for dessert would be a big plus!

De frieten zagen er heel lekker uit en smaakten goed! De chickless hamburger is een aanrader. De mushroomballs waren lekker en krokant. De zeewier kroket was ok maar mocht voor mij persoonlijk nog meer zeesmaak hebben.
