Serves meat, vegan options available. Pakistani dishes with a twist. Half of the menu consists of vegetarian dishes and staff are able to veganize those dishes that are not already. Vegan dishes include crispy cauliflower, green & red bell pepper, sesame seeds, sweet & sour sauce, sweet potato & potato cutlets topped with chickpea curry and black lentils & red beans curry. Egg-whites are not used in cocktails, whipped aquafaba is used instead. Open Wed-Sun 17:30-22:00, Fri-Sun 12:00-14:30. Closed Mon-Tue. Bar is opened Wed-Sun until 01:00 am.

Great cuisine with delicious dishes. The cocktails are surprising and equally delicious! The dishes at Raffat are great for sharing. If you keep them to yourself, it will be a bit more expensive, as you will have to take a few to eat enough.
Read moreMoreover, half of the menu consists of vegetarian dishes! Some of them are vegan too - feel free to ask the obliging and friendly staff! They do not use egg white in cocktails, but whipped aquafaba instead. Delicious! They do use honey to sweeten your tea - it accompanies your hot beverage instead of sugar (it's not already poured into it!).
The concept is not unique, but the taste of what you get served and the authentic friendliness of the service are - especially in Leuven! ;)
Tip: after the kitchen closes, the restaurant remains open as a bar... Ideal to continue enjoying the delicious cocktails! But also great to quietly enjoy all that goodness on the table.
Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, No eggs-whites in cocktails, super-friendly staff: ask anything!
Cons: Still a lot of meat though, Not everything is vegan...
