Tapas restaurant and bar. A wide range of vegan tapas dishes from around the world are prepared using mostly local and organic produce. A choice of fresh pressed juices, organic and vegan wines and beers. Open for lunch and dinner. Restaurant is situated in the city of Silves in a little street, right opposite the Old Roman Bridge. Added dairy cheese to the menu October 2023. Open Tue-Sat 12:00-15:00, Tue 18:30-21:00, Thu 18:30-21:00.

This restaurant is set in a charming laneway of traditional architecture right in the heart of everything. They're incredible people - fluently multilingual and passionate about good food. The food is high quality and something of a standard you'd expect from a capital city. But it's not pretentious! I had a main plus dessert and a glass of Portuguese red wine. It's made on order and the ingredients are clearly crisp and fresh. Very impressed overall.

I have been all around the world seeking out vegan restaurants that are creating works of culinary art with passion and caring for the planet, animals, and health. Well, I am happy to report the best vegan food in Portugal and maybe Europe, sorry Da Terra which is a close second, is Parsley and Thyme. Ashley and Marina are crushing it, so smash that like button and support this amazing establishment. Bonus, it is located in one of the most historic places in the country, but the parking is super easy. Just park at the Lidl 200 yards down for 2 hours free, walk into the old town, and bam, you have found vegan Xanadu!

Délicieux petit restaurant. Un mélange de saveur et d' influances ou nous avons eu plaisir à déguster des tapas et des burgers avec une sangria bien fraîche. Les desserts étaient aussi très bon (crumble de fruits rouges avec une glace vanille, et figues).De plus, le propriétaire est charmant! On a passé un super moment.

Best vegan food around! - Edit
This is a lovely restaurant with a varied menu and daily specials. I’ve been there twice now and can thoroughly recommend it. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy tasty homemade veggie and vegan food (apart from two dishes, if it’s not totally vegan, it can be made so!). And the deserts are delicious too!

Had a delicious and good value lunch here, and the staff were lovely. Changing menu but FM enjoyed the stuffed Portobello mushroom and the muhamarra. Would definitely return.

Eating at Parsley & Thyme is an unique experience. The service is super friendly and polite - just a delight. You will get detailed and individual recommendations for your food and even your holiday. The food is just delicious, we can highly recommend the Muhammara pâte, the Evergreen Burger, the Enchiladas and the ice cream (macadamia and caramel🤤). The prices are more than fair. On top of that, they play good music. All in all, highly recommended!

The Best Vegan food in the Algarve - Edit
As a new-ish vegan, I was so so impressed with the range of dishes at Parley and Thyme. The service was unmatchable and I would go back just for that.

We have eaten here several times and it doesn't disappoint. There are always daily specials and all the delicious food is prepared with care - with such an extensive menu there is always something for everyone. The majority of the dishes are vegan, there are a few with cow's cheese but vegan cheese is always available as an option. I recommend in particular, the muhammara, a Syrian red pepper dip. It is situated on a small pedestrianised street and it is always lovely to sit outside in the shade. Ashley and Marina are very welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. I live an hour's drive away, so that should be recommendation enough!
