Tapas restaurant and bar. A wide range of vegan tapas dishes from around the world are prepared using mostly local and organic produce. A choice of fresh pressed juices, organic and vegan wines and beers. Open for lunch and dinner. Restaurant is situated in the city of Silves in a little street, right opposite the Old Roman Bridge. Added dairy cheese to the menu October 2023. Open Tue-Sat 12:00-15:00, Tue 18:30-21:00, Thu 18:30-21:00.

Had dinner here with two non-vegans and they were equally impressed with the food as I was. There was a huge variety in foods, and it all tasted amazing!

We had a nice meal here. Wasn't at all busy as stated but we are early in the season. Some traditional food coupled with other dishes. The menu board was explained in full by the waitress which was helpful. The chef was from Porto and engaged in conversation about the food and his experiences. The waitress was very friendly and even took the trouble to tell us about places we should visit on our stay and we have already taken her good advice and enjoyed her suggestions. Thanks for a nice flavourful meal and a memorable experience

I just moved to the area and am the willed to have found this place! Almost everything on the menu is vegan (just a couple vegetarian options) and EVERY plate that came out (to guests sitting around me) looked AMAZING!

I will definitely be back to try the other plates.
It was busy and the staff were stressed but still friendly. Upfront that the wait would be long. (It was 25 min before taking order) Absolutely worth the wait!

Read moreMy 3 friends and I visited for dinner, we went for a bunch of dishes to share. Definitely worth it! I unfortunately had a bit of an upset tummy (too much wine the night before)so could only try little bits but the owner made me a lovely cup of hot lemon and ginger which really done the trick,along with the firewater he sent us on our way with.
What I tried on the night was absolutely incredible,and I took some home to have for breakfast the next morning which I was very pleased with.
This is a hidden gem in Portugal and I would definitely visit again

The food is absolutely delicious, everything tastes like fresh ingredients and lots of care. We ate way too much because we wanted to try everything. So recommended!

In a quiet pedestrian street you’ll find this cute place with a large menu with many international options. Very original and delicious, only 2 things on the menu are not vegan. Definitely worth visiting. Will come again!

They've been in business 13 months as of this writing (May 2022). It's a somewhat small place, with a few tables outside anda but more spacer inside. I SHOULD have grabbed a pic of the menu... my bad! The food was fantastic.

Delicious food worth traveling for - Edit
I made my way by local buses from Carvoeiro to Silves to join the Vegans in the Algarve FB group for lunch here yesterday. The best meal of my trip to Portugal! We had a tasty muhamarra with flatbread to start, the main course was Lebanese style eggplant and chickpea moussaka with couscous, and we finished with a red fruit crumble with salted caramel ice cream. So good, and I enjoyed getting to meet local vegans!

It is a lovely place with really tasty dishes. You have to try the vegan desert and the caponata, it is fantastic! The owner is very fire sly and explains all the dishes. Nice experience there😄

Vegetarian tapas cafe. Most items are vegan, or can be vegan. Small seating area inside, with outside tables. Owner is fluent in many languages, and very helpful. He made an oat milk cappuccino for me!
