This is nothing like any vegan place I have been to in the UK and would 100% recommend to someone stopping in time vegan or not.

Awesome food! Everything was sooo tasty. Buffet started at 12:30 and was clearly labeled (gluten, soy, etc.). Also very nice employees and warm welcome. Ambiente was clean and welcoming, nice outside area. Total must-go!

Delicious completely vegan Buffett - Edit
We went to Ops Cucina Mediterranea for dinner and I was really impressed how much choices they had! The Buffett is completely vegan with warm and cold dishes, Dips and Salads. Everything we tried was special and delicious!
Read moreWe payed around 15€ for each plate, but we had both two plates, because it was so good! To drink we had self made juices, which were also very good! They also offer desserts and different cakes. We tried a chocolate cake and a cream with berries. It was good, but a bit expensive.
For me it was the best place in Rome we tried for a vegan dinner, because they had so much choices and the taste was so good. It is a bit more expensive, but it’s worth!
Would go there definitely another time!

Well I do love a buffet, and this one definitely does not disappoint! Incredible variety - maybe 50 different options? And everything so perfectly prepared and deliciously flavoured!!

Best bits: ravioli, marinated seitan, creamy gnocchi, eggplant parmigiana, amazing salad selection.

Perfect for sampling a variety of vegan food worry free, but It will cost you. I enjoyed the pasta dishes the most and the soy chicken the least. After I discovered my bill, I decided to pass on dessert.
Read moreOps Cucina is a moderate walk to short bus/bike ride from the Roma Termina. After you arrive, you are assigned a seat and a number. Then, a staff member assembles a plate for you, scoop-by-scoop based on your selection. The plate is weighed and you have the option of buying an additional drink or dessert.
Everything is vegan so you don’t have to worry about the ingredients unless you have allergies!
The downside is that you have no idea how much the plate weighs (since a staff serves you) until it’s on the scale. At €2.80 per 100g, it’s easy to end up with a €20 plate at 700g. Granted you have a lot of fresh, quality food—the price is much higher than other buffets.
In the end, the price isn’t unfair, just difficult to regulate and predict.

If you're in Rome you need to visit this restaurant, I've never seen such a selection of vegan food in one place. Definitely the best place we've eaten this trip, so good! Loads of options and all vegan. Pay per plate is an interesting concept and something a bit different which was cool.

The food was so nice and filling, we got two plates from the buffet plus two desserts. We were very surprised as the buffet was not paying and eating everything you wanted as it should be, they weighed your food and charged you for that (very disappointed to be honest), so we paid 25€ for each plate (medium size, around 900gr). Dessert 5€ each. Final cost 60€, which is the most expensive we paid in Rome (and less amount of food)😅

We paid 35 for 2 platters and dessert, which was appropriate in our opinion. My plate was around 600g (that was already quite a lot) and my wife’s plate was around 500g. I wouldn‘t be able to get 900g down 😅

This place a vegan dream: I haven’t seen so many tempting vegan options in a long time and SO delicious! The staff were great and the system of choosing and having your food plate weighed for price was clear. Excellent value too and dog friendly. After a very disappointing buffet at Il Magutta the previous Sunday, this was very welcome.

And it is a big but. The restaurant is buffet style, all the food is freshly cooked and tasted nice, buuuuut, like I said, it's pay per weight. You have no idea how heavy what you took is, also because it isn't self service, and can only check at the till. €2.70 per 100gr it's far too expensive for vegetables, hence my plate, 1 single plate of mixed veggies cost me €19!!!! So in total I spent €37 for 2 plates and 1 sparkling water.

Everything we had at Ops was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The gnocchi and seitan were probably my favorite. The chocolate tart was also delicious. We only ended up spending $25 euro for both of our plates plus several drinks and desserts so I would say it’s a pretty good deal!
