Not at the most convenient location but definitely worth the journey. Compared to other vegan buffets in other cities this was definitely very affordable and there were so many interesting choices I went to get a second plate. Especially liked that most of the dishes were Italian and generally Mediterranean so it was very fitting.
Read moreThe only small thing was that we arrived at about 19:10 and the buffet was only ready at 19:30. I would have thought that it would be open at the time where the restaurant opens. But that may well be a cultural misunderstanding (we are German). Waiting 20 minutes is generally reasonable in a restaurant so I’m not deducting anything. I just feel like that may be good to know for others.

Read moreWe went here again and it was still very good, but not as amazing as the first time anymore. It seems that on our first visit we were lucky that all dishes we tasted were freshly prepared and thus still hot. On our second visit, some dishes were lukewarm to cold. Not a big issue with some, as they could be considered antipasti. For others like pasta though, it was a bit disappointing, given the high remarks we had of that place before.
May I recommend the owners to get heating plates for the warm dishes? 😉

This is easily one of the best vegan buffet restaurants I've ever been to. And I've tried a lot in a lot of places for many many years.
Yes, it is not in the cheap side. But then, this place offers a different experience to your everyday food stall, more like "fine dining" but buffet style. Nice atmosphere , ambient lights, chill music, pretty table setup, well-dressed and polite waiters and a gourmet buffet with an incredible lot of choices with great flavor.
We would definitely come back while we're still in town. Highly recommended! #Veganuary

Delicious Vegan Food in Buffet Service - Edit
Absolutely delicious and visually attractive vegan buffet. We went for lunch service on a Saturday, as the restaurant is close to the Borghese Gallery where we spent the morning. The food selection was beautifully presented, and we had a satisfying lunch. Flavors and variety of food was well-balanced and perfect for “sampling” a taste of almost every dish. The best vegan dining that we found in Rome. Attractive restaurant with outdoor seating also.

Apparently we don't look vegan 😁🫣 When entering, we were met by a rather short and unwelcoming 'This is a vegan restaurant. A vegan buffet'. No: Hello, or welcome, or anything.

After we told her: Yes, we are both vegan, the reply was simply 'the buffet isn't ready yet!'. (Btw, it was 12.20).
Well, can we already take a seat?
To finally be assigned a table, like reluctantly? ...
(PS: the person at the counter was much more friendly, smiling, welcoming).
(I also wonder how this goes down with non-vegan clients. Not really inviting ...)
The buffet is marvellous. Plenty of choice, and really delicious dishes! Also sushi rolls. One plate was 18€, the other 23,5 €.
On the expensive side (we didnt stack our plates with a mountain, but were full nonetheless). All in all good value for money.
We also had some desserts. Tiramusu and chocolate mousse. 5€ each. Nice (the chocolate was not really mousse tho).
Not accessible, step to get in. Some high tables with high stools, some regular tables/stools. Hard, not so comfy (cushions would be nice).
Toilet at the back. Clean.

Really enjoyed the majority of the dishes here such as the roast seitan and the gnocchi but others I ended up regretting putting on my plate. The pay by weight system is a great way to try so many things but I thought the cost was a bit high.

I eat here almost every night. There is something different every night. It's really Excellent. Food is beyond delicious and I LOVE supporting Vegan businesses. I don't have to think about what I am eating , everything is Vegan ( plant based). Lovely location, lovely restaurant, lovely employees. Nothing better for a great variety!

In this restaurant every day you have the chance to eat tastings of different vegan food in one plate. The buffet is amazing, rich of healthy and high quality options. Staff is lovable and location is very nice. Every time it’s a pleasure have lunch or dinner here.

Delicious buffet with so much variety - Edit
Pastas, curries, salads, pinsas, whatever your heart desires! They also had these really delicious hard cheese imitations that tasted just like parmesan (one also had a rosemary flavor which was so delicious). A lighter alternative to some of our other meals in Rome and so delicious. Also a very friendly staff!

Rude Staff & So expensive! - Edit
We arrived at opening time excited to eat - The lady outside was very abrupt and rude, she said we weren't allowed to sit inside, which I found strange (I wish i questioned why as we watched several other walk into the restaurant after we sat down) - then was told to wait whilst we watch her lay every table outside, in the end I asked if we could sit at 1 of the made up tables as we'd been stood for 20 minutes at the point. She said yes but just wasn't happy about it and said "you do realise this is a all vegan restaurant" - like she was trying to put us off?
Read moreWe sat down then again was left waiting- In the end I assumed maybe we just go up as she wasn't explaining anything & we were sat for another 10-15 mins. So we stood up to go & get our plates- she then said the food wasn't ready yet. We'd been there over 30 mins. It wouldn't of been so much of a issue if we were just told. She was just extremely rude - we should of walked out but we both get socially uncomfortable & embarrassed easily and were hungry.
Whilst waiting I went to the toilet - there was poo on the toilet seat - Baring in mind we were the first people in there so it should of been cleaned surely.
Eventually she said we could go in to get our food - we went and filled our plates with all the tasty looking food available. The food did look amazing & was obviously all fresh. We got to the counter and I could of died when we were told 66 euro for 2 plates. Lol. We went for a 3 course meal with a drink each for the same price the day before that was honestly 1 of the best meals I've ever had in my life. So this was a massive shock. We sat down to eat - some of the food was tasty but most was pretty bland & nothing I'm going to remember about.
The young staff member who served us also came out to have several cigarettes during our meal - she was in the doorway next to the entry to the restrains and close to where we were sat so we could smell the smoke. She was also talking on the phone really loudly and just dancing around and being silly. In the half hour we were eating she came out a times. I don't smoke and don't like the smell of smoke especially when eating.
The whole experience was dissapointing

Delicious, with a wide buffet selection at lunch time (open from 12:30 until about 16:00). Cost is €30 per kg and the selection includes filled pastas, mock meats, veggies, dips/sauces, etc
