Amazing food

This is probably one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. The food is flavorful, colourful, delicious and innovative. And they had the best tofu I’ve ever had in my life. They make it themselves. And the kimchi was awesome. Would love to go back and try the other things on the menu.
The place is cozy, offers outdoor sitting, friendly staff. Go try it out!

Pros: The tofu! And the scallops, Fully vegan and delicious

Bookmarked to come back

A simple and pleasant place, with extra friendly and accommodating staff. Good thing we reserved as the restaurant got full very quickly.
The food had a surprising palette of tastes that matched perfectly together. The cold tea (eucalyptus, lavender and orange) is also a great example of that.

Unique and beautiful dishes

Visited for a date night and it was a cute little place for sure with lots of charm. The “scallop” mushroom appetizer was to die for and the highlight of our meal. Wine was delicious and all of the food was beautifully plated and very visually appealing.

I wasn’t particularly fond of the Tofu Katsu, but it was interesting to try for sure! The bibimbap was very tasty!

Great Food, very well seasoned

The food was great. Very well seasoned (quite salty and spicy, but not too much).
The staff was friendly and quick. A bit more on the fancy experimental side, than traditional, I liked it 😄#Veganuary

The reviews speak for themselves

I rarely see a place getting such positive reviews, so I had to give this restaurant a try. I had the king oyster scallops and the katsu curry and both were outstanding. The amount of flavour packed in these dishes was amazing. Moreover the presentation was totally on point as well. Simply superb.

Delicious gado gado

We had the cauliflower starter, gado gado, and tofu katsu. Everything was super delicious, but the gado gado was the highlight! House-made kombucha was also very good. Service was slow, took almost 2 hours to get the mains, but it was worth the wait and we got a free drink. Make a reservation - the place was packed.

Fine dining experience

It was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed every bite and it was a revelation of flavours. The cauliflower was cooked to perfection, and remained velvety and not mushy despite being fried. The hint of spice silently accompanied everything while remaining balanced.
Gado gado was the star of the dinner. I will also try to carry over the idea of the Azores pineapple into the things I prepare.

As for the location, the place is cosy and elegant. The playlist sounds like something out of my Spotify so I loved it. Perfect venue for those who like to dine alone like me because it's open kitchen you are also entitled to entertainment.

Made my first night in Lisbon delicious!!!

My first time here and this place is going In my top 3 favs. I’ve been to a lot of high-end extremely expensive places. This place is very modesty priced-I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and tasting, a gourmet dish for a third of what I’d pay in major US cities.
I had the Tofu Kafka- see the description on their menu- the marinade and the reduction sauce made it so flavorful and well balanced. Everyone working there seemed to be enjoying their work which is nice to see.

Pros: Flavor , Varied choices , Presentation

Cons: None

OMG YES! Wish we had a O Gambuzino in The Netherlands :)

Well this sets the bar for a restaurant experience. It was SO good!
The King Oyster scallops and the sweet and sour cauliflower were a great way to start the dinner. Then we had the polenta with celeriac fillet as a main, as well as the panko battered tofu with local quinoa. Men.. it was all delicious and special!
I'm so annoyed that there is so much muah/average food out there while food can be as memorable as it was at O Gabuzino. Thank you for this experience.
The miso salted caramel cheesecake was fantastic. So inspiring!

Pros: inspiring, delicious, great value for money

Phenomenal food

This was some of the best food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I got the pani puri with fermented gazpacho, the bibimbap, and the panna cotta. I also got the hibiscus gin fizz cocktail (with aquafaba!). The pani puri were just perfect. The bibimbap was so fresh and full of flavour. The panna cotta was light and really nice with the crispy pistachios on the side. Actually I thought the panna cotta could have had an even creamier texture (it was made from coconut). Overall, this place was fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Stunning experience

I had high expectations on this place after been reading really good reviews about this place. And they were all met! Nice environment, fantastic flavors and combination. One of the best dishes I’ve eaten (bibimbap) and the best dessert I’ve ever eaten (cheesecake). We had some starters that were very good as well. Amazing experience and will definitely come back!

Pros: Amazing combinations of flavors and colors , Well cooked , A lot of in-house made ingredients

The joy of an open kitchen

I love an open kitchen, normally it allows me to trust a restaurant, on this occasion it allowed me to enjoy it .
The delightful spectacle of skilled chefs weaving a tapestry of enticing aromas captivated my senses, compelling me to savor every moment. The oyster mushroom tacos initiated a flavor symphony that left me craving more, while the Gado Gado, infused with bold Asian flavors and generous portions of tempeh, elevated the dining experience. This establishment stands as a culinary gem in Lisbon, a must-visit that seamlessly blends gastronomic excellence with a vibrant atmosphere.

Really really good

We booked a table one day in advance and went to O Gambuzino for dinner on a Saturday night. We expected something great and we were not disappointed! We got a couple or starters (algarvian carrots and mushroom "vieiras"), both fantastic, and then one main dish each (one sea-flavoured, and one with home made tempeh). I would recommend the tempeh wholeheartedly.
Also, the kombucha (made with orange and carrot) is very good!

The thing I liked the least was the cheesecake. Not bad by any means, but the rest was superior!

We loved the food, it looked like eating in a 3 star michellin restaurant and tasted just as good. The service was very friendly and the prices very fair. We will definitely come back!

Amazing!

Our dinner at O Gambuzino was truly amazing! We chose the kimchi as a starter, which was a great choice. We had the dish Gado Gado and the tempeh was one of the best we ever had. Also, the desert Coco Cotta with a hibiscus gel, pear and pistachio and was heaven! They have an outside and inside area and friendly stuff. We also got coupons for a free desert, if we come before before 7pm next time. They also have some interesting interior design details like this use jars with fermented food and some small art pieces. When you sit inside, you can see how the chefs prepare the food. We will come again for sure.
