I cannot describe how amazing the sushi tastes. It‘s magic… I was lucky enough to have great sushi in different countries, including Japan, but I have yet to discover a place that makes sushi so well.

The sushi pieces look amazing, and taste even better: I found it to be a perfect balance between excellent consistency and taste. The taste, in turn, appears to carefully combine subtle, but also deep and complex tastes, leaving you mesmerized after the first bite.
The sets I ordered were brought in intervals, with the first plate coming soon after ordering. This allowed me to enjoy the sushi as fresh as possible; a detail I appreciated very much.
Finally, the different plates with varrying pieces came with a certain synergy between them, as if the Chef was guiding us me on a discovery path of tastes.
One can only imagine the effort and dedication it must have taken to achieve this culinary perfection. Huge respect to the Chef!
This small restaurant is run by a family. From what I understand, the father prepares the sushi, while the mother and the son serve customers.
In addition to the amazing sushi, the beautiful environment and the lovely service staff make a visit to „Nori“ an unforgetable experience.

Hier kun je alleen maar goede dingen over vertellen. De smaken van de sushi en gyoza.... geweldig! Ben hier al met veel mensen gaan eten (ook vlees en vis eters) en iedereen vond het zo mega lekker en willen allemaal terug komen. De keuze is ook enorm, niet alleen sushi! En de eigenaren zijn hele leuke en lieve mensen. Ik ben fan!

I wish I loved this place but I just didn’t. Not that tasty, not that fresh feeling. I’ve definitely had better vegan sushi at non vegan places. Relies heavily on vegan meat slices, which shouldn’t be on sushi in the first place. In the end it was ok, but would not come back.

From the first bite, I knew why: the quality is sky-high, and the owners have high standards for their suppliers, and you can taste it. I reserved a table a day ahead at 4pm, at 4:10 I was still standing infront of closed doors. This lead me having to choose a later train, but anyway. I was the only customer. I ordered 3 different rolls and a dessert: The (warm!) dessert came first, then the rolls with a 5-10 minute wait inbetween. I was so confused - why is it not possible to bring them at once, especially as I was the only person in the restaurant? I wanted to take a picture of the everything, so I just awkwardly sat infront of my food for 20 minutes eating nothing and waiting...

Tuna, amazing. Salmon, amazing but the spice on the outside is way too overpowering. Baecon, my favourite. The banana was very mushy, cold by the time I'd eaten it and just not good. 25,50€ is a lot for this!

You really cannot miss NORI if visiting Rotterdam – if I lived close by I know I’d be here all the time…!

Nori Vegan Sushi is an absolute gem. The sushi is incredibly fresh, creative, and full of flavor—easily some of the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. The staff are warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

This is one of my favourite places in Rotterdam. They offer old-fashioned Asian food and sushi, but veganized. I love this! Also, the family owning this place is very friendly.

This place is incredible. All-vegan and just so many options and so much choice. I was in a group and we split the Crunchy Box with a whole host of different sushi and also the Thick Fried Ebi Roll, which was a must-have. Banana and ice cream also delicious.

The sushi options all heavily rely on various meat substitutes such as vegan tuna, salmon, beef. You need to know the names a bit as there is little explanation. Many options are mayonnaise-based. The quality is good and the staff is very friendly. Only the soup didn’t impress, I ordered “Peking soup” out of curiosity but got some gooey tofu bouillon. The only downside was a guy talking on the phone with the loudspeaker on, I wish the restaurant staff would have asked him to respect the peace of other guests but they didn’t.

I would have loved to have all items served together, to have the variety while eating. On the other hand it was good there was some time in between the items.

Friendly service.
Cosy interior. Chairs are comfy but hard wooden bench (there are some cushions though to soften that).
Saw one toilet. Clean. Very small though. Didnt see an accessible toilet. Resto on ground floor.
