Secret Tip

Small place, big food.
Most of the stuff is marked veg, meaning vegan in most cases.
The friendly staff speaks very good English and is super helpful!

Do not forget to try the cookie dough desert!

Hearty and healthy vegan lunch

Hearty and healthy meals with plenty of vegan options. I had the green salad bowl with crispy tofu and it was really flavourful. Pricey but nice to have a filling and nutritious meal in central Porto. Friendly staff and pretty quick service even during peak lunchtime.

Pros: Nutritious , Good vegan protein options

Cons: Pricey

Delicious!

We came here twice and both times the food was lovely! The staff know their menu and would definitely help if you had any questions about vegan options. They specifically asked us about allergies both times.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Moderate price

Delicious but a much shorter menu than online

Great and friendly service. Healthy omni venue with a lot of vegetarian choices and some vegan ones. Also serves meat & fish
On line menu suggests more vegan options but is actually a shorter menu (no pastas for example)

Pros: Tasty, Healthy, Friendly

Cons: More limited vegan mains - 2

Soooo flavourful!

Lots of vegan options and everything was incredibly tasty - even just the flat white! I had the straccia smoothie and the loaded fries - would come back here everyday!

Lovely breakfast spot!

Such a cosy place - we sat on the second floor and had a lovely breakfast. Coffee is delicious and comes with a little motivational message, which I found adorable!
I had a protein shake and shared the carrot cake - they were both great!

Pros: Protein smoothies available , Plant-based were clearly labeled, Very kind staff

Incredible buckwheat pancakes

I like this type of place, healthy vibes and focusing on whole foods. Even though it's omnivore, labels are clearly indicated next to each meal, which makes it easy to order. Savoury dishes are a bit limited but I really enjoyed the simple sweet potato wedges with guacamole. The highlight was definitely the pancakes... They were just incredible and I enjoyed every bite of it. Next time I have the occasion to go back, I would go just for them!

Review for Nola 2.0

Note there are 2 sister Nola Kitchens cafes.

Wide selection of healthy desserts and beverages

I was mega impressed by the vegan dessert options - labelled as PB on menu.  Using quality ingredients is clearly their mission and good to find adaptogenic drinks here too.

Theres a few light bites but not a substantial food menu.

I'll definitely be back, especially as its open everyday until 11pm!

Good but pricey

Pretty good variety of vegan options. I had the beet burger which was good, but not that good given the price. It also took awhile to get our food.

Good food.

Wide variety of vegan options. Prices are comparable to major cities like NYC, though some may find them on the expensive side. The food was delicious and satisfying.

Great coffee and tasty tofu bowls

Had walked past a few times and so wanted to try on the day we left Porto and it was well worth it. Limited vegan options but the tofu bowl was fresh and delicious and the coffee was great. If you’re in the area for a while it’s great option (although there are a heap of other options nearby too!)

Pros: Great coffee, Delicious tofu bowl

Cons: Limited vegan options, Outdoor tables are on a major slant!

Can’t make menu alterations :/

I went the for desserts, the menu is nice, not very extensive tho, but it features some less usual recipes, so it’s nice to try out! The spaces are also very comfortable and cozy
I wish you could remove items from some menu items tho (which they won’t let you do)

Pros: The space, Staff, Unique recipes

Cons: Can’t make changes to the items

boring menu for vegans and expensive

i struggled to pick something bc everything was quite expensive and uninteresting. there is nothing very appealing to make you go eat here as a vegan, besides burguers, everything feels like a side dish. i didnt love my dish and couldnt even finish it bc it made me so full! i had the loaded wedges

Good food but expensive

I had their food delivered. The cheesy cauliflower was very good. The loaded potato wedges were too sweet. The are sweet potatoes, but it tasted like the sauce was sweetened. I couldn’t finish it.
I had walked by their restaurant a couple of times. Their outside dinning area is very nice.

Bit on the pricey side!

We wanted açai and walked past this place and it seemed like something they might have. I have to admit that, for €12 (!!!) for a bowl, it was a bit lacklustre. Not filling at all and expensive for what it was. There’s a huge menu though and lots of it is plant-based. The environment is really nice and the team are super friendly, just let down by the prices I think. I’ve had better, cheaper açai elsewhere.

Great vegan place with charm and authenticity

This place is very focused on the food experience. All the dishes are well thought out. They also have a nice range of juices and smoothies.
An excellent stop for lunch or dinner

On the go

Food was really great and I would go back in a heartbeat but it’s not a real eatery experience. If you are out and about that’s a great place to grab a hearty meal.

Best brunch spot

Loved it - went back twice in one weekend. Had the tempeh, cauliflower cheese, protein bowl and pumpkin pancake. All were so delicious and fresh. On the pricier side but worth it! Cauliflower cheese is a must try!
