Decent, But a Bit Pricey - Edit
We hadn't planned on eating at NOLA Kitchen during our month in Porto, but after some sightseeing we were all starving and it was a nearby vegan option.
Read moreWe dined outside and shared a couple items - Beet N Bean Burger, Cheesy Cauliflower. Our daughter had the Banana Bread and a smoothie. Everything tasted very fresh.
Good food, but for the prices, I would go elsewhere.
Pros: fresh tasting food, felt very healthy

Small place with some healthy food - Edit
I passed by Nola kitchen many times until I finally decided to give it a chance. I had the vegan bowl which had Tempe and rice and some green veggies. It was nice. The service was also good and kind. For 15 euros I would consider it as a small not so satisfying dish to be honest. For that price I think the dish should be more special to justify the price and also the relatively small portion. But overall okish experience.

Good service - Edit
I came to NOLA Kitchen many times already, and although the food is good, they have changed chefs, and in my opinion the quality decreased a bit. It's a bit overpriced as well. Non the less I appreciate that they change the menu regularly.

Delightful welcoming Porto city dinner - Edit
We were visiting Porto and after a long day, there wasn’t anything that could end our day in a best way besides this meal. I kind of forced my friend to try a different meal on his birthday and actually I was pretty succeeded ahah the staff was so friendly, we really take our hat to Nuno and Isa ( a beautiful girl with blue hair)! They helped making our evening special with their warm manner and great chatty talk! We will be back 🩵 P.S - keep the fennel pickles!!!!

Who said vegan food is boring - Edit
Stumbled across this cool place whilst looking for a healthy vegan lunch. Chose the boho salad. Some might find the lentils a tad salty, but I thought it was packed with flavour and really liked the combination with the blackberries.

Healthy, Creative, and Thoughtful - Edit
There were so many vegan options on every part of the menu. The cauliflower with “cheese” and crunchy soy crumbles was fabulous. The Kimchi was amazing. The green bowl was one of the best dishes I’ve had. Great outdoor seating. Love the inclusive environment created by the restaurant.

Unexpectedly delicious and great value! - Edit
Loved the dishes here. We ate here on our first night in Porto, I had the Boho salad (vegan) and my partner had the Egg and Rice dish (vegetarian). We also had the corn cob snack (vegan). I absolutely loved both the corn cob and Boho salad, so delicious and different tasting! My partner also loved his dish too which had kimchi and oyster mushrooms. Clearly the chefs here taste their food! We weren’t expecting such interesting meals on our first night and were blown away!

Cool but pricey - Edit
Really good quality fresh food. Everything was carefully crafted and delicious. I tried the black bean burger bowl, the corn pops, the macadamia cheese flatbread, some of their juices as well as their coconut yogurt bowl, their carrot cake, and their cookie dough cake. All very delicious. I'd say follow your heart and order what sounds good.

It was pricey though for the portion sizes, and they do serve meat, eggs, and dairy.

Visited here from the US in June (2023) and found the service very friendly and English spoken by all the staff. The naked burrito dish I had included some ingredients I don’t think I’ve ever had, including black rice and bean beet patties. Yummy.

Modern Vegetarian/ Vegan Kitchen - Edit
A lot of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Good thing is they are showing what is vegetarian/ vegan. I was a bit confused as they said something was plantbased/ vegan but there was an egg on top. Very delicious but also very touristic and pricey. Staff is nice!

(rating out of four, as it's not fully veg: 3/4)
Read moreBrilliant if you want to eat more ethically (despite them serving meat!). Perhaps not as good if you are hungry or on a budget. (Maybe eating budget vegan elesewhere can be ethical enough!)
I got the "Wanna be a pizza" flatbread. It was delicious, but my word was it small for about 14 euros. See picture attached
Tasty food, felt good that it was whole foods etc. Didn't feel great that they still serve meat. Felt a little underwhelming for the hype
Pros: Tasty
Cons: Expensive, Tiny portions, Ethical food but still serves meat.
