Bland flavor - Edit
Had the thai coconut curry, the taste was bland. I was also surprised that there was no source of protein, basically just rice with vegetables. Looking at the vegan/vegetarian menu, all the main dishes lack a protein source unless you go for the burger. Bad design of choices, they put the minimum amount of effort to appeal to vegan/vegetarian people

Read moreI have been here twice and on both occasions I had very good experiences. The variety of vegan plates is quite notable, considering it is not a vegan restaurant. The things I have tried were delicious and massive portions were a surprise. I didn't have space for the chocolate mousse at the end!

I would recommend this place if you are with a group of people with different diets. I went with non- vegan friends. They have a few vegan options (but also vegetarian, keto, gf). I chose the cauliflower steak with a side of sweet potato fries. It was tasty but honestly too expensive for what it was.

The restaurant serves different vegetarian and vegan dishes in an apart menu category. Choice between cauliflower steak and sweet potatoes, sushi bowl, schnitzel. They serve vegan wines and mayonnaise as well. But you have to ask. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a good evening.

Went here a few times but the last few times it has been terrible. No foods compliment eachother and it feels like the chefs haven't even tried the food once. My partner got a tiny expensive burger, and I got the cauliflower steak which was bland, with a random portion of extremely bland side of....spaghetti??? Its very random!!! Don't be fooled by the reviews, they don't even try for us vegans anymore.

Was excited about a fine restaurant that catered to vegans. But this was an example of non-vegans assuming they are catering to vegans just by steaming some vegetables. Ordered Thai coconut curry with roasted hazelnut and wild basmati rice. It was a large bowl of either boiled or steamed vegetables in coconut milk. Didn’t see any hazelnuts and there were no spices used, none, no curry, no flavor, not even salt. I had to ask for the rice which they came with 10 minutes later with no apologies. And by the way, I think there were only 3 vegan options on the menu, not all the ones they show in their website.

Staff and chef really know very well what vegan means and do their best to offer several tasty vegan dishes and sweets!
Read moreWhen they serve you bread and butter at the table, simply mention you’re vegan and they’ll bring you olive oil and some salt and pepper for the bread instead of the butter.
Their sushi bowl, ‘Bordje uit de oven’ which is baked veggies are very nice.
I reaaaallllyyyy loveee their vegan amarena ice cream with chocolate sauce! Yum!
A bit more chic so nice when you want a little more fancy dinner for a date night.
Or perfect when your family does not want to eat vegan bc they offer something for everyone.

Staff is friendly and thoughtful. I immediately received olive oil with the bread instead of butter (I mentioned I was vegan when making the reservation).
A little bit pricey, but it is also probably due to the location.

Een klassieker in Leuven die helemaal mee is met z'n tijd. Verschillende heerlijke vegan gerechten in rijkelijke porties. Als er vleeseters in het gezelschap zijn, komen ook zij uitgebreid aan hun trekken. Prachtig kader ook en vriendelijke, vlotte bediening. Top!!

Highly recommended place for a nice and cosy evening - Edit
[EN] At the reservation, we left a little note saying we wanted to eat vegan. This was not ignored. Before we even said anything, we were told the bread was vegan, olive oil on the side. This is literally the first time we didn’t have to send back the butter in a not all-vegan restaurant.
Read moreVery nice to be able to dine in a very pleasant setting and be treated as ‘normal’ customers, not having to beg for a vegan option. Here, vegan options are on the menu. And there’s more than one! It’s quite rare not feeling like having to question things on our plates.
If I had to give a small point of criticism, I’d say my husband’s plate (grilled butternut) could have used a bit more colour, but that’s really just nitpicking.
In it’s category, a highly recommended place for a nice and cosy evening!

[NL]We hadden in het commentaarveldje bij de reservering aangegeven dat we vegan wilden eten. Daar werd ook al gelijk bij het binnenkomen naar gehandeld. Geen boter, maar olijfolie bij het brood. Echt de eerste keer dat we in een niet-exclusief vegan restaurant de boter niet moesten terugsturen.
Heel erg fijn om in een aangenaam kader als 'normale' klanten bediend te worden en niet te moeten bedelen om een vegan optie. Hier staan de opties gewoon mee op de kaart. En het zijn er meer dan één! Het gebeurt maar zelden dat we niet het gevoel hebben ons vragen te moeten stellen bij de inhoud van ons bord.
Als ik een opmerking zou moeten maken, dan misschien dat het bord van mijn echtgenoot iets meer kleur had kunnen verdragen (gegrilde butternut), maar dan ben ik echt aan ’t muggenziften.
In zijn categorie, een zeer aan te bevelen plek voor een gezellige avond uit!
(Zou 5 sterren gegeven hebben, maar HappyCow reserveert die voor volledig vegan restaurants.)

Vegan schotels zijn van de lekkerste - nonfastfood - variant in Leuven, je wordt er als vegan ook niet als een noodzakelijk kwaad behandeld. Kreeg evenwel geen vijf sterren over mijn hart vanwege nog groot aanbod aan vlees en vis.

Place offers you multiple vegan main courses and desserts. They change their options from time to time though, so it's always a suprise what will be on the menu. There's also a vegan red wine you can choose. The service is kind and pretty quick but be prepared to pay a little bit more than in an other vegan restaurant. Would recommend this place though to other vegans! Love their chocomousse ;)

Went there for my son’s 17th birthday. I had the vegan paella, vegan ice cream as dessert and vegan coffee to finish the meal and everything was to die for! They also double checked everything my daughter ordered because of her food allergies. Everyone had a great time!
