Oh. My. God!

I don't even know where to start! I've never had Sri Lankan food, but I'm always up for a new culinary adventure. The reviews sounded great, and the pictures looked good, and all of it made for an amazing foodie experience! The ambiance is very warm and welcoming with an indoor dining room and even better, a spacious outdoor patio with lights everywhere and heat lamps for chilly weather, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is outstanding! The combination of flavors, heat levels, spices, and all the love that was obviously poured into it combined to make it a fantastic meal. They have lots of gluten-free options as well. Even the meat eaters would be happy. I highly recommend a visit!

So tasty and flavorful!

Was so delicious— can’t wait to go back. Had the Hoppers Brunch Entree and a Passionfruit mimosa. And there is a very cute/covered and well lit patio!

Great flavors

This meal was so delicious. We got string kottu with polis curry, string kottu withchick’n curry, fried rice combo with a side of seeni sambol and roti. Outdoor seating was really nice. Friendly staff.

Great homely food

Truly delightful experience here! Being a South Indian, I could see a lot of similarities with our traditional food too. Definitely will visit this place every time I visit Portland 🥰

Pros: Lots of traditional, time tested vegan recipes, Well balanced authentic flavors, Tasty, filling and yet feels healthy

Cons: Not in Seattle area, grrr

Makes me want to go back to SL 😭

Eating here brings back fond memories of my two-week jaunt in Sri Lanka a couple years back. I fell in love with the food (among other things) and have missed it ever since, which is why I'm ecstatic to have found this place! This was my first time eating here and definitely won't be the last.

If you're new to Sri Lankan food, you really can't go wrong with the rice & curry. They only serve it after 4 PM Fri-Sun here, so you may want to time your visit. The next dish I'd recommend would be the kottu roti, which is chopped up roti stir-fried with veggies. It's a very popular street food in Sri Lanka. It's comforting, filling, and absolutely delicious. Then there's pol roti, which is another classic Sri Lanka dish. This coconut flatbread is thicker and harder than regular Indian roti and is usually served with curries.

I'm looking forward to my next visits so I can eat my way through the menu!

Pros: delicious, good value

Super flavorful South Asian food

Got the rice and curry weekend special (seemed like a Sri Lankan version of a thali plate to me) and added an optional side of the special meatball curry. Dang, it was a super flavorful dinner which can easily be shared by 2 people. 10/10 in the flavor department. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Pros: Super flavorful

What a find!

Tonight I traveled to a new food country -Sri Lanka. It was amazing. I had the Hot Chili Coconut Roti Meal- two pieces of pol roti with onions, hot green chilies, and curry leaves (mixed into the dough), served with dahl, potato kirata, and seeni sambol- the seeni sambol was so delicious! It is sliced onions caramelized in tamarind juice with chili flakes, cinnamon, and other spices- quite the kick but oh so so yummy! Everything was delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again

Pros: 100% vegan!, Fresh and delicious, Friendly staff

Really fun curry plate!

Wanted to try Sri Lankan food and this was a great way to get many flavors at once. Will be trying more individual dishes in the future.

Spicy Smorgasbord

I had a curry plate and it was definitely a great value — it comes with like 9 different things on it! The food is colorful and spicy, which I love! It's a lot like Indian food, and coconut is a prominent flavor. If you've never had Sri Lankan food, give it a try!
