Friendly and attentive staff, pancakes the size of your head and a cooler version of iced coffee. Need I say more? This place is fantastic! They were prepping for Mirisata’s opening of an evening and it smelt absolutely incredible in there. Gratuity is included which is much appreciated to confused travellers. GO HERE.

The fresh squeezed OJ and pancakes were amazing! I haven't had pancakes in so long and was excited to indulge. The Just eggs and sausage were good and paired well with the pancakes. The only reason for only giving 4 stars was because of the service. It was not the best.

Best vegan breakfast ever! - Edit
Do not skip this place if you're visiting and you're craving a full breakfast before you go exploring. The staff are so friendly (thank you for recommending those blueberry pancakes!) and they are open all day for lunch and dinner as well. The only thing I wish I did differently was get extra toppings for my Just eggs, my partner did and his scramble and toast combo was even better than mine.

great breakfast/ brunch spot! we each built our own combos and it was delicious. i definitely wanted to get pancakes but feared my eyes were bigger than my stomach and they looked very huge and lovely seeing other people ordering them. it was a busy sunday so our order took a bit longer than expected, but hey that’s sunday at brunch right?!

Cooper’s has so many yummy breakfast options that I thought were no longer options. I got giant gluten free and vegan pancakes with maple syrup, crispy hash browns, and an excellent tofu scramble. This is a chill place with great people and delicious food!

Perfect Pancake Combo Breakfast - Edit
After spending a fun, adventurous 2 days camping at Trillium Lake with freezing, rainy weather for most of my trip, I wanted to eat something warm and comforting on my way back home. Pancakes (especially chocolate chip ones) are one of my favorite go-to vegan comfort foods. Vertical Diner was previously my regular pancake spot, but since they’re closing, I needed somewhere else to replace them and thought I’d try Cooper’s.

I took home half my chocolate chip pancakes in a to-go box when I couldn’t finish them in one sitting. I’ll be back here again and highly recommend eating here. I found parking easily on an early weekday morning.

We tried Cooper’s for the first time today. It was recommended by our waitress at Vertical Diner as a delicious alternative since Vertical is closing. Cooper’s is actually better. We had the pancake special. just egg scrambled, vegan sausage and smashed potatoes. They have real maple syrup which made it even better. It is a co-op and the worker/owners are very friendly and helpful. We will come here every time we are in Portland. Prices are reasonable and they open at 8!

It was pretty good and fairly priced. I got the just egg scramble with thrilling foods bakon and it came with a huge serving. The hash browns here remind me of the ones I used to get from McDonald’s.

At first we thought we were in the wrong place- there is no Cooper’s menu posted anywhere- just ask! Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a delicious brunch- tried a bit of lots of stuff! Get the Yukon potatoes as a side, the scramble and the bacon. Delish!

Our morning flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the evening so we had an extra day in Portland. We were excited to find Coopers Co-op open at 8 since it is kind of hard to come by too many fully vegan breakfast options on the earlier side. We have been to Mirisata before (but it was over 2 years ago) so we came but it looked very closed and there was no one there. There was a door open to the kitchen so we walked over and the woman told us we could sit anywhere. I love the outdoor seating. We ordered the pancake breakfast with just egg, French toast breakfast with just egg, and English breakfast. The only thing that was a little confusing was that the waitress kept asking how we want our eggs. She meant do you want just egg or tofu scramble, but we thought she was asking for egg style. Might be easier to just say tofu scramble or just egg. Food was great and portions were huge. Gratuity is included which is great! A nice surprise on a bonus day in PDX!

Everything I've tried at this vegan restaurant is INCREDIBLE! My favorite is the BLT with Trilling Foods Vegan Bac'n. All of the staff are extremely kind and extremely good at what they do. I absolutely recommend checking out Cooper's Cafe!

Pancakes were awesome. Maybe not the most unique or special options, does feel like you could just easily make most of it at home (impossible sausage, just egg, just okay coffee), but I love having a vegan breakfast place. I’ll have to dry the non-breakfast items sometime.

The classic breakfast plate is just perfect! An option to add blueberries or chocolate chips to your pancakes and a choice for just egg or tofu scramble for an egg substitute. It’s also a lot of food so be mindful. We unfortunately didn’t realize and wasted so much food :(
