Friendly and attentive staff, pancakes the size of your head and a cooler version of iced coffee. Need I say more? This place is fantastic! They were prepping for Mirisata’s opening of an evening and it smelt absolutely incredible in there. Gratuity is included which is much appreciated to confused travellers. GO HERE.

I got the classic pancakes, sausage, Just Egg, has browns and a coffee… it was amazing! My boyfriend isn’t vegan and he ate his entire plate too. I will absolutely be returning to Coopers

Awesome spot - Edit
This is a “bonus” restaurant ran by Mirisata and it’s also excellent. I’d recommend getting brunch here and will note that the sandwiches also deliver well.

Secret breakfast - Edit
When you go to the counter at Mirisata, you can ask for the Cooper’s Cafe menu for breakfast items served all day. The portions were large and the pancakes were delish.

The place is a hidden gem. Cool vibe, lots of outdoor seating, and the food! We had a craving for pancakes and boy, we were not disappointed. The portion was massive and the quality incredible. Not to be missed!

Restaurant in a restaurant - Edit
This place is literally hidden in Mirisata. I ordered the BLT and onion rings and both were fantastic. There were also great beers as well. Highly recommend it.

Delicious - Edit
Our morning flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the evening so we had an extra day in Portland. We were excited to find Coopers Co-op open at 8 since it is kind of hard to come by too many fully vegan breakfast options on the earlier side. We have been to Mirisata before (but it was over 2 years ago) so we came but it looked very closed and there was no one there. There was a door open to the kitchen so we walked over and the woman told us we could sit anywhere. I love the outdoor seating. We ordered the pancake breakfast with just egg, French toast breakfast with just egg, and English breakfast. The only thing that was a little confusing was that the waitress kept asking how we want our eggs. She meant do you want just egg or tofu scramble, but we thought she was asking for egg style. Might be easier to just say tofu scramble or just egg. Food was great and portions were huge. Gratuity is included which is great! A nice surprise on a bonus day in PDX!

Everything's Incredible!!! - Edit
Everything I've tried at this vegan restaurant is INCREDIBLE! My favorite is the BLT with Trilling Foods Vegan Bac'n. All of the staff are extremely kind and extremely good at what they do. I absolutely recommend checking out Cooper's Cafe!

Solid Classic Breakfast - Edit
Pancakes were awesome. Maybe not the most unique or special options, does feel like you could just easily make most of it at home (impossible sausage, just egg, just okay coffee), but I love having a vegan breakfast place. I’ll have to dry the non-breakfast items sometime.

Nice classic American pancakes. Just egg, Hashbrown and muffin was lovely as well, would be nice to have more additions to breakfast e.g. Fruit loaded pancakes, as well as vegetables (even if optional) with the tofu scramble

Huge portions, affordable price, amazing breakfast - Edit
The classic breakfast plate is just perfect! An option to add blueberries or chocolate chips to your pancakes and a choice for just egg or tofu scramble for an egg substitute. It’s also a lot of food so be mindful. We unfortunately didn’t realize and wasted so much food :(

Good Breakfast - Edit
They were cleaning up and servicing the stove in the kitchen. Despite this, they were welcoming and friendly. I had the full breakfast with pancakes, hash browns, "sausage," and tofu scramble. The food was good. It tasted and had a mouth-feel like a non-vegan meal, which would be a plus for if you bring any non-vegans with you. The coffee was very good. The portion was huge and I left very full.

Breakfast that’s out of this world! - Edit
How often can you get a vegan English breakfast?! Trust me… this is better than what you can make at home. These pancakes are so fluffy you won’t even believe it, and you can add blueberries and chocolate chips! The hashbrowns were out of this world, but don’t sleep on the tofu scramble. Huge portions for great prices, I highly recommend getting a large meal so you can try all that Cooper’s has to offer! Get the orange juice if you’re willing to blow a bag

Cozy - Edit
It was my first time visiting definitely will be back next time in town. I had the American breakfast combo, deviled wings, and cider no alcohol. It was all quite yummy, took a to-go bag. Prefer my sausage a bit crisper, but other than that, it was good.

I didn’t realize just how poor my own pancake game was until I had Cooper’s pancakes. WOW. So fluffy and sweet. Didn’t even need syrup. Worth a trip just for the pancakes!

Okay - Edit
Friendly staff and good vibes. I found the food to be just okay. Both dishes seemed under seasoned, and the “eggs”, sausage, and hash brown were more oily than I am used to. The portions were huge; two adults could split one entree.

Acceptable American Breakfast - Edit
So, I would have given this 3 stars personally, but it gets an extra star from me because I love Mirisata. The American Breakfast was good but presented nothing unique or special. What was special was the Egg Roti I got on the side. Combined it was an excellent meal. Also, props for the Worker owned business.

American Combo - Edit
The pancakes are really fluffly and delicious! The eggs are pretty terrible. They tasted like uncooked, really green mung beans with no attempt to be egg like. The hash brown patties were only crispy, there was absolutely no potatoes left in the center.
