Nice noodle vegetable soup - Edit
The staff are volunteers trying to promote healthy food and martial arts similar to tai chi. Both ingredients and the cooking style are trying to make digestion optimal. There was 10 different vegetables and flavors in the soup and all natural.

Hit and miss dishes - Edit
I thought the menu looked very promising, but in reality several of the dishes were disappointing in terms of flavour: the mapo tofu is lacklustre, lacking spices not just in heat, but just in aromatics and taste. The sesame seed soup had the potential to be great, but there was insufficient sesame flavour and some bitterness coming though. The sichuan noodles though I’d highly recommend for a strong peppery umami flavour and the taro soup is also nicely textured with bits of taro, and tastes a bit like a taro bubble tea. Delicious!
Read moreThe server we had was also very nice and spoke to us in English about Taipei climate, what the institution that owns this restaurant facilitates (not about the belief system which I thought was safe to omit) and also gave us a sample of lovely Taiwanese tea! In particular I’d recommend the Alishan.
There is an English menu.
Pros: All vegan, Friendly service, Sichuan noodles
Cons: Expensive , Slow service, Food underseasoned

Read moreThis vegan restaurant is located in the B2 level of Bellavita shopping center near 101. Despite the higher price and slower service, the food is impressive with some creative dishes.
The most interesting dish I’ve tried is the Chinese burger. It uses pickled veggies, soy sauce tofu strips, a braised tofu slice, carrot and parsley. The bread has a texture like Indian flaky flatbread. The taste is closer to an appetizer because of the pickled veggies. Unique and delicious.
Not to be outshined, the dry dandan noodles is great. It’s not very salty, but it has a rich mix of spices (but not too spicy). Also the mince is finer than usual and this allows it to stick to the noodles.
Pros: All vegan and good food, Chinese burger is very intersesting
Cons: Service is a bit slow
