At the launch, I really enjoyed the vegan sourdough pizza - the base was wonderful with good depth of flavour and they are generous with the vegan cheese. It is difficult to get vegan pizza in Hong Kong (many of the popular pizza chains do not offer/stopped offering vegan cheese) let alone vegan sourdough pizza, so Mayse is something new for the vegan HK community!
At my recent visit, I found the service needed improvement. No one came to seat us (we were waiting for 10 mins before seeing a server). Then they moved us but the table they wanted us to move to wasn’t ready so was a bit confusing. Understand they’ve had issues recently and were going to close.. maybe this is one of the issues. Wanted to order a drink and not clear how to do it as no one was at the till for ordering. Also my pizza this time was a bit overdone so the crust was bit hard and seemed to have less toppings than pics of other diners with same pizza.

Fantastic all vegan pizza place. Handmade and healthy on sourdough bread. Plenty to chose from including toasted cheese sandwiches. I had the Hot Hawaiian pizza and a strawberry milkshake, both delicious and good value for 200hkd (£20). Lovely lady running it too. Will be visiting it again for sure.

I visited as a party of two adults and two children (age 12 and 10) and we all loved it. My daughter is vegetarian, not vegan and she loves pizza and pasta - she shared pizza and pasta with her mum they both loved it. Me and my son tried a couple of different pizzas, both wonderful - try the charcoal spelt base truffle pizza, or the tom yum for something different. Oh, and be mindful that the chilli oil is made with California reapers - the heat builds up fast! It's not cheap (for pizza, pasta and panini), but totally worth it.

Wow, those pizza’s are amazing! First of all, creative flavours (I really enjoyed the Tom Yum one), so it’s nice to try something different. The crust and base are perfect. And the place looks cute as well. Lovely! I’ll definitely come back.

I've been to Mayse a few times now and tried literally everything on the menu. It's all absolutely delicious! The staff there are really friendly as well. My personal favourites are the Tom Yum pizza (which if you ask they'll make extra spicy, but it's really very spicy) and the Hot Hawaiian.
Read moreThis is the only place in Hong Kong where you can get a decent vegan pizza, and I personally think it's on par with a lot of local pizza joints in general. They really know what they're doing to get great flavours and they're really generous with the vegan cheese too.

The vegan pizzas here are some of the best I've ever had. The flavors are well balanced with some traditional pizza toppings and some creative toppings. I love the truffle pizza. The Tom Yum is also really nice - especially if you like that lemongrass / kefir lime flavor. The pesto one is also amazing. The one with artichokes is good if you want something more traditional. The cheeze is melted and goes well with the toppings. They have kombucha and some beer to drink.

My favorite vegan pizza place of hk! Used to live in Taipo and would visit their Tai Mei Tuk store and eat the pizza on the beach nearby. Ever since I’ve moved I’ve been missing them. Recently started working in the area and finally got to come for a solo pleasure.Their homemade vegan cheese is a bomb. If you like it extra hot, try their homemade chili oil to spice up your life!

The tempeh crackers come with or without garlic, a nice protein snack. They also do oyster mushroom crackers 🤯 it’s more than a dream come true.

Got a Pesto and a Tom yam pizza, both were great. They use Violife cheese alternative and don't skimp on it. Also the kombuchas we had were top notch. The owner is very friendly, and the interior is pleasant, much recommended!

We went there today and had pizza as well as a cheese panini. All three were really good and properly sized: pizzas are around 25cm.
