Delicious and interesting dishes in a cute restaurant

This is a cute little restaurant with a simple but pretty decor and a nice open feel with windows running down two sides of it and a mirror on the ceiling.

The menu was interesting with a variety of creative dishes. For starters we went for all 3 of the gyoza options - Mr Bean, Mr White and Mr Truffle. All three were delicious, packed with fillings and lovely and crispy. I particularly enjoyed the flavour of the feta sauce with the Mr White gyoza but they were all excellent!

For our mains we went for the Trufflegar Club Sandwich and the Laughing Tiger. The Trufflegar sandwich was so good! It was flavoursome, fresh and came with perfectly done sweet potato fries – crispy coating with a soft fluffy interior. Sweet potato fries are so often done wrong but these were perfect!
The Laughing Tiger was also delicious! The lion's mane mushroom was tender and marinated in sauce which gave it a delicious rich flavour. The rice was plain which balanced perfectly with the richness of the mushroom.

For dessert we went for the Pain Perdu and Mont-Blanc Fuji. Again they were both really good! The Pain Perdu consisted of caramel soaked toast which had a delicious rich flavour and moist texture, and came with a sweet vanilla ice cream which balanced it out perfectly. The Mont-Blanc Fuji was also really good, although I preferred the Pain Perdu.

I also had a Litchi Martini which was really tasty with a sweet, fresh flavour.

Pros: Delicious food, Pretty decor, Creative menu

Great dining spot

I really enjoyed my dining experience here.
It's so great to find dishes which are different than what you usually get in Paris.
For instance, they use lion's mane mushroom for the "Le Tigre qui Rit" plate; and the "sando" (japanese-inspired sandwich) are also rather different from you regular sandwich.

The mont-blanc and pain perdu for dessert were also wonderful.

Will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Pros: yummy, original, friendly service

Romantic location, delicious food

They opened just a month ago, instead of previous Bloom sushi, which was also excellent. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the prices are more than fair. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A hidden gem

The restaurant looks beautiful, way too fancy for its price. Everything we tried was genuinely so delicious. We even joked about them casting a spell on the food because it's INCREDIBLE, so tasty and good looking. We were full but we still wanted to try the dessert. It was the best choice ever.

Will definitely come again, 10/10

Wonderful, delicious, simply a gem

We went to Maora because we saw they have a Lions Mane Mushroom dish and we wanted to try it out. What can I say? It was delicious. We also had 4 starters which were all very well balanced and uniquely tasting. If you get a chance, come here and enjoy their lovely food, friendly service and mouthwatering drinks.

Pros: Everything, Great Food, great drinks, lovely service

Vegan fusion of French and Asian gastronomy

This vegan restaurant is located in place of the former Bloom Sushi in Batignolles.
It offers a fusion of French and Asian gastronomy.

Starters include gyozas, mini salads, bowls and rolls.

Main courses include dishes revisited by Maora,
- Vegetable tartare
- walnuts from Pierre, Paul, Jacques with marinated Eryngii mushrooms,
- apple, onion and carrot curries,
- A mushroom marinated in sauce and pan-fried with cashews and spring onions.
- Sandwiches with kimchi or oyster mushrooms and black truffle sauce.
- Salads

Desserts include
- Cream flambé with yuzu
- Chia pearls with dark chocolate shavings
- French toast with vanilla ice cream
- Yogurt ice cream with chestnut cream

Moktails, cocktails, softs, wines, beers and champagne are also available.

The menu will change with each season, delivery will be possible and a catering service will be offered.

I was warmly welcomed and well advised.
The gyosas with black truffle cream melted in my mouth.
The vegetable tartare was delicious, and the kimchi worked well to spice things up.
The French toast recaptured my childhood soul of this mythical dish.

In short, a place not to be missed, with revisited dishes and affordable prices.
