This was such a great meal - everything was made fresh to order, the staff were lovely and the flavour was superb. On the pricier side but worth it for fresh, innovate and tasty food.

Really fancy and delicious sushi dishes, but very expensive as well and we waited over 1 hour to get our food. If you can wait and are willing to pay a good amount of money for the food this is your place.

Das beste Sushi, das ich je gegessen habe. Ich war schon mehrfach dort und entdecke immer neues. Mir ist unklar, wie jemand so gut kochen kann. Ich habe schon mehrfach versucht, diese Sushi-Rollen nachzubauen, aber bei mir werden sie nicht ansatzweise so gut. Unglaublich.

Ich habe noch nie Sushi gegessen, was so unfassbar gut geschmeckt hat. Es war toll und echt schön angerichtet. Man konnte sich kaum entscheiden, was sich leckerer anhört. Am liebsten hätte ich mich einmal durch die Karte probiert. Bin sehr happy!

Update: war heute zum vierten Mal dort gewesen und bin von Mal zu Mal mehr begeistert. Ich probiere jedes Mal was neues dazu. Hab auch meine Freunde mitgebracht und die waren auch begeistert. Es ist wirklich zu meinem Lieblingsrestaurant geworden und das bei einem Fahrtweg von ca. 1 Std.😃😍

Leckeres veganes Sushi - Edit
Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Haben sehr spontan noch einen Platz für zwei Personen bekommen und hatten ein sehr leckeres Abendessen.

We went there a bit naively on a Saturday night without a reservation but luckily the staff managed to squeeze us in if we were done by 19:30 (that was almost 2 hours so perfectly fine). Thanks for that!
Read moreWe shared a plate of the rainbow California rolls and they were lovely, all of the varieties were really tasty. We also had a serving of steamed pumpkin which was really good. It was supposed to be a starter but we ordered it together with the sushi so that we could use it to “neutralize” the taste after trying each different roll.
In conclusion, would totally recommend and if you’re in Cologne you should try!
Only small downside was that it didn’t keep me full for that long but that’s a problem I have with sushi generally and not this place so no blame there.

Wie viele Bewertungen bereits sagen, ist es wirklich ein Erlebnis, das Textur, Geschmack und Optik wirklich auf einem sehr hohen Level komponiert.

Einen Tisch zu reservieren ist Pflicht, insbesondere am Wochenende. Zum Glück und zurecht ist das Restaurant gut besucht. Die Atmosphäre ist dennoch nett und entspannt. Viel dazu trägt das Personal bei, welches sehr freundlich ist. Etwas Zeit sollte man mitbringen sowohl vor als auch beim Essen, um den Gerichten gerecht zu werden.

Tastebuds and eyes love the little Sushi combinations, also nice platter of starters and japanese drinks. Visit this place in larger groups so you can order more different rolls from the menu.

The flavor combinations are perfect here, so many interesting rolls that are perfectly made, are delicious, and just plain fun to eat! make sure you make a reservation and come early. service is very slow but it’s worth setting aside the time, but just be expected for it to take a while! staff is super friendly and helpful.

Has a very interesting menu, was sad I could only have one of the mains. Tried a less traditional option, inspired by Italian cuisine (seemingly, although it wasn’t advertised as such). It was delicious. More traditional options are also available. The sushi deserts were tasty and fun too.

I finally made it to Cologne to try out this place, and I was not disappointed. Not only were all of the staff very nice and friendly, but I also did not have to wait for a long time. I ordered some starters (yakitoFi skewers and natto rice) that arrived nearly immediately, and some rolls on which I had to wait a bit, as they were at the moment preparing a huge order of « Very Special California Bento », a mix if different California makis that I guess is an awesome combination, but takes some time to prepare.

What a wonderful surprise! We’ve had vegan sushi before, but this is the best we’ve ever had! We appreciated the excellent customer service, as they squeezed us in earlier than our reservation. The server, Paul, was so kind, helpful, and humble. But that sushi! As soon as Paul set it down on our table, our jaws dropped. I wish we had a Makimaki near us!

I went by myself as I was travelling solo and was really excited to visit a fully vegan sushi place.
Unfortunately, a member of staff made me feel uncomfortable eating alone; he questioned me a few times if I was waiting for someone and seemed visibly shocked and confused when I said no. He kept trying to talk to me and ask me what I was doing in Cologne. Maybe it is a cultural difference but I hadn't had anyone working at a restaurant treat me like this before and make me feel like I was doing something wrong. I ate as quickly as I could to get out of there. I would suggest getting takeout from here if eating alone!

Couldn't imagine a vegan sushi place before I tried it. The staff was really friendly and there were many options and variations. Also it is quite pleasant to eat at a place which only serves vegan options!

Only downside for me personally was that many of the rolls were filled with avocado. Would've loved to see a few more options with tofu instead.
Otherwise I was amazed by how they imitated fish!
The place is a bit expensive but it wouldn't cost less at any other sushi place. Also it is recommended to book a table in advance since the place tends to be full in the afternoon/early evening.
Pros: much variety, amazing fish alternatives
Cons: too much avocado, having to book in advance

Interesting Sushi variety - Edit
Western style Sushi place with crazy combinations and a Huge variety of interesting Sushis, maybe a bit heavy on the Avocado but that's not necessarily a con if you like it. Also has delicious Sweet Dessert Sushis.
