The place gets very busy during the lunch hours, but I just decided to get a takeout and it was the right decision, staff is friendly, speaks good English the options are very good and bao was very fresh!

The Bao was soooo good. Also the Donuts were really tasty. They also sell Bags and Shirts with their Logo. But unfortunately there was a note saying that the Shop ist moving to Nara from December 2025.

Sweet outdoor space with lots of bao options! Arrive early; we got there an hour after opening and within a few minutes the entire space was occupied.
Read moreThe bao were so good!!! I had been craving falafel and it was perfectly crispy. All of them were delicious, but the falafel was my favorite!
We also got the strawberry donut and OMG it tasted like funnel cake. I could have cried— it was so delicious: cakey on the inside and a bit of crunch on the outside.

We tried the Maiitake Bao and the Freezed Dried bean curd and it was so good! We taught the place was close because google map will tell it's temporary closed but that's the previous shop that was at the same place! Go and try it if you are in Osaka. They are closing down the Osaka location on November 30th 2025 and reopening in Nara in March 2026 for your information.

If you like bao this is great - nice to have somewhere fully vegan. The fries are nothing special. Bao on its Ken is quite well priced, and you can add a drink and fri s for just under ¥2000 total.

In einem Land, in dem es Vegetarier und Veganer so schwer haben ist es umso schöner das man dank Happy cow immer wieder solche Plätze findet, bei denen man sich keine Gedanken machen muss. Aber bei diesem findet man außerdem noch ein exzellentes Essen und für mich die kreativsten und bisher besten Baos meines Lebens. Sooo lecker!

Can’t rate the bao buns as they were a little out of our price range (1300yen!!) but the doughnuts and ice cream were very good. Again a little pricey though - 860 yen for a doughnut and a small ice cream. Nice staff, great spot.

My family and I have been wanting to try this place since last year but they were so far away from our hotel. This time, we found them on Uber Eats! We LOVE their bao’s and had them 2 days in a row for lunch! The bao’s are huge and so fullfiling. The bao’s, donuts and fries arrived hot and fresh. My family and I ordered an extra bao to keep in the fridge to have for dinner later on and it was still so good! My family favorites are: the deep fried mushrooms bao, the cutlet bao, and the BBQ bao. I am in love with their matcha donut! It arrived fresh and still hot! My husband and family loved their strawberry donuts, however it was too sweet for me (I’m also watching my sugar intake). My kids asked me why we didn’t get take out from there since day 1. We were in Osaka for 8 days! We highly recommend this place, even for picky eaters! It was also nice to take a break from ramen!😄We can’t wait to come back and will be thinking about this place.

Amazing Vegan Bao Burger - Edit
It was an amazing Bao Burger. All is vegan, tastes very good and you van try ALL OF THEM! After the burger you have to try the vegan donuts. We prefer the plain one, simpel is often the best choice, but all of them sounds great.
