Every location I have been to was gorgeous. The food is very good, tried a few different variety on the menu. Very friendly staff a little more on the expensive side because it is a chique franchise but they deserve their 5 star rating.

Service is 5 stars, it's a beautiful restaurant with great staff who makes you feel very welcome. The food and the flavors could be a lot better. The fried Brussels sprouts in buffalo sauce had a really great flavor but were $14 for a very small portion, and the the other dishes like the coconut curry and signature cheeseburger were bland. It seems to be hit or miss depending on what you get. Matcha ice cream was good

Had a lovely meal and drinks here. The “calamari” was excellent, as were our entrees and drinks! Unfortunately they were quite busy so we did have to wait a while, but our server was quite attentive.

We reserved a table for lunch. The beer & gin cocktail (the botanist) we’re tasty. The dumplings were our starter and were tasty. The sauce was kimchi & almond butter and could have been punchier. I ordered the tacos and they were just ok. Nothing special. My partner ordered the harvest bowl which was tasteless- the butternut squash had no flavour, their was very little quinoa. Think of this dish as a salad not a bowl.

Ate here for my birthday brunch one year and LOVED the brunch bowl that I got as well as vegan croissant. Food and atmosphere was immaculate—but unfortunately (and this could be a one off) the service was terrible this day. We literally waited 1.5-2hrs for our meals with no updates (Im assuming someone forgot to put the order through bc it was not very busy) and we were not asked if we wanted refills on our drinks while we waited—which probably wouldn’t have been as big of a deal but we may or may not have been hungover 🤣. Only took away one star because things happen 🤷♀️ and I would like to think that this was a one off for an otherwise perfect spot 💜.

A lot of people I know, including myself before this, haven’t tried Lov in a few years but I was really pleasantly surprised last time I tried it. The portions seemed bigger, the flavors are spot on. That was even after ordering takeout so I feel like it would be that much better now in person. I’ll have to see for myself😄 It is definitely foodie approved since the menu is diverse yet without compromising execution. For example, I can order a good burger and fries, as well as some great sushi, or risotto. In other words, the menu is diverse and everything I’ve tried is very tasty.😄The ambiance and decor is obviously very cool and does add to the experience.

Hipster vegan delight - Edit
LOV is another great place to hit if you’re making the rounds of the Montreal vegan scene. Not as good as the Lola Rosa local chain, but LOV has a fun, hipster atmosphere and some great, unique options. My husband and I went for a late brunch, and I ordered the French toast and he ordered the eggs Benedict. Both were really good and we would definitely go there again.

I really wanted to love Lov! It is a beautiful space and the staff was very professional and friendly. My husband and I visited on two separate occasions while in Montreal: once for dinner, and once at an odd hour around 16:00 right before our flight home. Both times, the food just really underwhelmed me.
Read moreMy husband tried the burger for dinner and enjoyed it. I tried the mac and cheese and then zucchini spaghetti with caviar, and both to me were just average, in my opinion. Both dishes needed more flavor, with the latter needing less salt.
For our mid day snack a couple days later, we tried the cheese plate. Now we're from NYC and are lucky to have a plethora of amazing vegan food at our finger tips, so maybe we have really high standards, but the cheese plate was just not very good. I also thought it was strange to serve two crumbly cheeses (Gorgonzola and Feta) on a cheese plate, when those are more salad cheeses and difficult to spread on crostini, but maybe Canadians do that...?
This could just be me picking the wrong food off the menu and not liking it.

The atmosphere and vibes in this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. You instantly feel at peace here; it is so serene. I ordered the daily soup (which was a zucchini soup), as well as the poutine and a chai latte. All were incredible.

Nice ambiance, like a New York bistro, with prompt though uninspired service -- during the lunchtime rush, anyway. I took the $19 "lunch express". The soup was amazing, really good, but the chili was a little blah, and way too salty. The little bowl of Costco nacho chips including lots of broken ones did not exactly "up" the food experience.
