We ordered the (gluten-free) fiancé burger and the kale caesar salad. It took ages for the food to arrive. The burger and fries were cold, the salad was boring. We expected better because of the many 5-star ratings on Happy Cow, but unfortunately it was disappointing.

Mushroom pork is delicious! - Edit
We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and poutine, which also had the mushroom pork. The pork was absolutely fantastic. I’m not quite sure how the chefs cook the mushrooms to have a meaty consistency, but I was impressed. The sandwich left a bit to be desired, but the poutine was excellent.

Staff was lovely. Food was greasy. Perfect place to go when absolutely starving. I forgot to ask for the house burger so I had the impossible. The flavors were wonderful. Onion rings are bomb.

Fiance burger with poutine upgrade. Not much of a description of house burger other than made of veggies and nuts by staff, but tasted great and held its shape. It was quite a mouthful especially with onion ring. Bacon was tasty but got lost in the burger. Wolfed down the burger and poutine. Never had vegan poutine but it hit the spot. Just wished for more cheese curd.

Burger Fiancé was EVERYTHING I’d hoped it would be. The burgers were delicious and the fries (we tried the poutine and the truffle fries) were divine. We also had a milkshake that was a bit pricey, but very tasty! I will definitely be going back! I highly recommend adding this place to your Montréal food itinerary!!

I got the old school burger and the poutine. The gravy on the poutine was slightly sweet but still lovely, the burger however was amazing!! Staff was very friendly too!

Stumbled in here after a long delayed train trip and loved the cute modern vibes. Poutine was delicious and a good size even for a side. Also got the cheeseburger to go, which was great for a snack after climbing to one of Mount Royal's lookouts. They were sadly out of ice cream, so I'll have to try the milkshakes the next time I'm in town. Overall a bit expensive, but the portions were decent.

I had the fiance salad with "pulled pork" which is pulled shiitake on top. The salad was very filling and very tasty and came with 2 dressing containers.

Great burger spot in old Montreal - Edit
If you are in the mood for a burger and fries, this is the place to go in Montreal. All of their burgers can be made with either a house-made or Impossible patty. I had the Fiance burger with a house patty, and it really hit the spot. The fries were also on point. I almost ordered an app, but ended up being glad I did not because the burger and fries were more than enough. And very tasty.
