Delicious food, even better humans - Edit
The food here was amazing, but the real standout was the incredible kindness of the staff.
Read moreI had a bit of a situation — they’re cash only, and I didn’t have any VND on me because every ATM I tried that day kept giving me errors (no my card wasn’t blocked, they’re ATM’s were just giving me some attitude). I’d given up trying and figured I’d try again the next day. My tired, travel-fried brain didn’t even think to check whether they accepted card (spoiler: they don’t).
When it came time to pay, I couldn’t use my card, so they kindly offered to accept a bank transfer. But of course, Wise decided my 100,000 VND (~$6 NZD) transfer was suspicious and paused it to re-verify me. Yayyyy 🙃
I was mortified — but then I remembered I had some scrap NZD and AUD coins in my bag. To my surprise and deep gratitude, they accepted them! And they were still so patient, understanding, and warm throughout the whole ordeal.
So yes, amazing food — but even better humans.
Just remember to bring cash!

Set in a pleasant first floor room. On a totally personal level I’d probably have given the curry a 2* as it was basically a tofu curry with a few bits of carrots and small mushrooms but I didn’t check in advance what it was and some may like that. After being warned the sauce was a bit spicy I actually found it tasteless and there was a piece of plastic in it. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll probably eat here again but definitely won’t be having the curry.

What a delight to find high quality vegan food in a quiet alley off the busy street! The food was a delight- fresh, well presented and flavorful. Though not labeled as vegan it would be hard to imagine any slip across that line in my reading of the menu. Banana flower salad, signature spring rolls came promptly with perfect seasoning followed by a tofu version of Bo Kho, rice and mixed vegetable noodles. With drinks and all less than $5/person. So why is isn’t busy is a mystery - it may just be the amount of nearby competition.

The menu is also in English. Please keep in mind it's a vegetarian restaurant. Which dishes are vegetarian and which ones are vegan was not labelled on the menu. I translated by google that I would like to have something vegan to eat, and she pointed a few dishes out. Although I need to admit quite a few dishes do sound vegan on the menu.

Overall lovely lunch experience - Edit
When we got to Ho Chi Minh we were ravenous so was very excited to have such a choice of vegan eateries. This place was only 10mins walk from our hotel so thought we’d check it out.
Read moreWe were not disappointed! The staff were very welcoming and the food was super tasty and a bit different from a lot of the food we’ve had in Vietnam. Together with my partner we ordered the bimbimbap, the sweet + sour vegan ribs and the crispy noodles. Overall super tasty and refreshing. They are very nearly vegan but have a few cream based dishes and drinks with honey in. Otherwise would likely be 5 stars.

Charming place with a good breakfast deal - Edit
Been here for breakfast and dinner, both of which were pleasant experiences. The decor is nice, the English-speaking owner is friendly, and there are some less common dishes on the menu. The breakfast with a free drink is also a great deal.
