Solid vegan french cuisine - Edit
This is a vegan restaurant that focuses on veganising traditional French recipes. Here and there a little spiceless but over all solid vegan meal in Paris.
Read moreBesides the meals don’t taste fresh and it seemed like they’ve been prepared in advance and have been simply warmed in the microwave, which is kind of a disappointment!
The Creme brûlée was for me the highlight of the night and I recommend it to everyone!

Me and my girlfriend got the lasgna and mushroom pie (the two dishes of the day),they were delicious and served with a beautiful salad!

Wir sind voller Vorfreude hergekommen. Schnell stellte sich Ernüchterung ein. Das Personal war unaufmerksam, aber freundlich. Trotzdem mussten wir sehr lange warten um unsere Bestellung aufgeben zu können.

Unsere Vorspeise war aufgewärmt, wirkte also nicht mehr frisch, war aber dennoch lecker gewürzt.
Meine Hauptspeise war ganz gut, die meiner Verlobten allerdings fast ungenießbar. Laff gewürzt, das Seitan wirkte wie Gummi. Zudem war die Portion für 18€ sehr klein.
Die Creme brulee zum Abschluss war dann wieder in Ordnung.
Insgesamt leider nicht empfehlenswert, wir würden bei unserem nächsten Paris Besuch nicht wiederkommen.
Pros: Typisch französische Küche, Glutenfrei

Oh. My. Gods. Here I thought traditional French cuisine was off-limits for vegans. Lucky for me, this restaurant proved me wrong! Amazing food, many options, friendly staff. If you're a vegan visiting Paris looking for a worthwhile place to eat: this is it! And seriously, try the crème brulée.

Last year I ate here twice with my dad on our vacation, this year we came back and were pleasantly surprised to be remembered by the super nice staff. I am usually a picky eater and prefer salty and flavourful foods, this place was everything I could have hoped for.

Read moreI think that the title says it all: their idea is to offer typical French food, but vegan, and it really works. The menu is varied (just one little sadness that the lasagne is no longer there) and very tasty.
The service is perfect, so friendly and welcoming, even when there is a queue of 10+ people at 7pm waiting to enter (you're advised to book!).
My only previous criticism would have been that at their old location(s) the tables were very close together; in their new location (since 2020) there is so much space it's great. Plus there are many more tables, so less chance of the restaurant being full.
Pros: French menu, but vegan, Great taste, Lovely staff
Cons: Price (but it's the centre of Paris...)

Reservierung würde ich empfehlen.

There is a lot of vegan restaurants in Paris, many of them delicious. But this one is not only delicious, it’s authentic French cuisine. The staff were absolutely fantastic, based on our waiters suggestions we ordered the Blanquette which is a creamy dish with seitan. It was delicious, so was the seitan Bourguignon, French onion soup and crème brûlée. Highly recommend.

If you want to try typical French food ... - Edit
... this is your spot! I went there with a Parisian friend, and she told me to get the seitan in red-wine sauce if I wanted to get the most "French" main on the menu. And of course, I also got the crème brûlée for dessert. It was good. Price-wise, the place is not exactly cheap, but not outrageous either - just Paris prices. The service was a bit slow, but I was told lots of places had issues finding staff after restaurants were allowed to open again after the winter/spring lockdown. (I went there in July 2021.)

Amazing restaurant with great choices of vegan French food although my son had a tofu stirfry which he loved. The lasagna and the seitan bourguignon were really good. The desserts and coffee were fantastic.

We wanted to try french food but since we are vegan we started to put that idea off until we found "Le potager du Marais"! By far the best restaurant I've ever been to. The staff were THE BEST people ever and the food... I wish I could explain. If anything I'll advise you to try the french onion soup, I could eat that forever. The prices are very accessible considering the service provided and the quality of the food, so good me and my boyfriend went for a second round. Can't recommend this place enough

The food was amazing and the waiters were very nice. I shared a platter with different dips including of artichoke, seaweed and mushroom pate. As main I had a delicious Bourguignon of seitan.
