MUST eat here in Paris! - Edit
My new favorite place to eat in Paris! Make a reservation here as you don’t want to miss out on this fine experience! The brothers that own this delicious restaurant are charming and know how to prepare and present quality food! I can’t wait to go back!

Good food and atmosphere - Edit
Menu with lots of choices. The food was yummy but it didn’t blow me away - the chickpea pancakes lacked seasoning and the wild rice dish could do with some protein, maybe a patty on top to make it more complete as a meal. Would definitely recommend though

Amazing experience - Edit
My family and I were visiting Paris and experienced a wonderful 3-course dinner at Le Potager de Charlotte. The food was outstanding and we will return here without hesitation during our next trip to Paris. Not only did the restaurant smell amazing with aromas of warm spices in the air, but everything tasted incredible. Also, the owner provided one of the nicest customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I left a shopping bag by mistake at the restaurant and the owner safely returned the bag to our hotel, which was way across town. Amazing. Please tell your friends about Le Potager de Charlotte. I know I will.

THE BEST - Edit
I went here for their 3 course Sunday brunch and was blown away. They prepare an avocado with a special sauce that gives it the texture and flavor of a soft boiled egg. It was amazing and creative and that was only the first course. I was so full I unfortunately couldn’t finish the final course! The owner was very attentive and even asked if I felt it was enough food (I had read previous reviews about people leaving hungry so they definitely must have changed portion sizes). Wonderful experience in a cute modern chic atmosphere

Favorite restaurant in Paris! - Edit
Everything was amazing, from soup to dessert—and everything in between. The owner speaks to each table, and his brother the chef comes out of the kitchen to see how you enjoyed your meal. It’s a very special place.

We had Sunday brunch there. Absolutely outstanding food. Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere. We talked with the manager at length and he was gracious and happy to speak with us about their recipes, the food that they cook, the spices that they use, etc. Highly recommended!

Excellent - make a reservation!!! - Edit
Le Potager de Charlotte was a few blocks from our hotel and excellent!! We arrived from Boston during a freak snow flurry and were excited to make this our first stop, unfortunately we were not aware reservations were needed and had to come back the next day. I enjoyed everything we ordered and highly recommend making this a dinner stop on your itinerary, or take advantage on the brunch on Sunday!

Extremely Friendly Owners - Edit
The food was great!!! The service and friendliness of the the staff was even better!!! After I noticed the How Not to Die books on display and struck up some conversation with the owner who was very kind and eager to give us recommendations on other vegan shops and restaurants. They said they were all booked when we showed up but said if we finished in an hour we could eat, we never felt rushed and they made a point to say that we can finish at our leisure.

Nice restaurant but expensive with smaller portions - Edit
I enjoyed my visit overall. The staff were lovely and the food was aiming high, almost as if trying to prove a point about what vegan food an be. I think they proved that point quite well too.
Read moreThe portions were too small for me and I was still hungry when I left.
This is one of the basics - if you’re vegan, you need larger portions to get the right amount of nutrition, not smaller.
The dishes are expensive too but they are aiming for fine dining so I can forgive that.
My biggest issue really is that the menu is extremely limited and the mains aren’t very satisfying.
Pros: Friendly staff, Aiming high with vegan food, Great desserts
Cons: Very expensive, Small portions, Limited menu

Fantastic! - Edit
Very pleasant place, the staff were very nice. I had a full menu, where most of the dishes held high quality. Some of them striked me as odd, but still not too bad, although they tried to gastronomically upsell some kind of chickpea blini for far more than it could be stretched. The venue was cosy, although slightly cramped.

A top notch vegan restaurant - Edit
This is the fifth restaurant that we dined at in Paris for the dinner meal. Most have been very good. This one was the best. Great food that was simple, well presented and very tasty. Plus, a chocolate dessert that was relatively low in calories and did not leave me too full.

fantastic Sunday Brunch - Edit
After strolling the Montmartre district all morning into early afternoon, We called to see if Le Potager was open a was told we could have the last Sunday brunch reservation. The food was awesome and even though we were the last people in, we never felt rushed. The owner and chef personally delivered our food and presentation was above 5 stars, and the taste was of equally 6 star pleasure. The food was so good we tried to eat slowly so the experience would last even longer. The owner even gave us additional information on other vegan restaurants we might want to visit while in Paris!!!!!

One of the best places I have ever eaten - Edit
What can I say? Adrien and his brother (the chef) are a dynamic duo who have turned Le Potager into one of the vegan treasures of Paris. Extremely health-oriented, there were copies of well-renowned books on veganism that demonstrated their interest in truly medicinal food. Adrien was very patient and kind in helping me figure out the menu options for the day, and I went with the 4-course brunch and got a juice as well. The presentation and aesthetics of the food were matched equally by the delicious taste. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!

amazing vegan dining - Edit
As a family of 5 strict plant based eaters, it's never easy to find great vegan dining options in Paris but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the savoury dishes & further blown away by the dessert dishes. Wow, joint owner & chef, David with his brother, really have an amazing quaint restaurant here, with all the right ethical reasons for anyone who cares for the nutritional aspects of what they consume, as well. Great to also see a couple high quality books on the bench of the restaurant, "How not to Die", by Dr Michael Gregor, clearly displaying the focus of the restaurant chef & owners in respect to health, nutrition & general positive ethical stance to the animals & the global environment. So amazing well done guys & thank you from the Ashton family!!

Great veg. place in Paris - Edit
Discovered this place by chance. While I was trying to download the Happy Cow app onto my new phone, we found ourselves already standing outside one of the far between vegetarian restaurants in Paris. Much better food than a couple of other veggie places I've tried in Paris. Also very nice decor and ambiance. Friendly wait staff, who also speak English. Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine along with our meal. The only slight downside might be the limited number of dishes on the menu - e.g. 3 main dishes, (I hesitate to write "entrée" because of the different American English and French meanings.) Definitely plan to visit again.
Read morePros: Great food, Lovely restaurant, and wine!
Cons: Limited selection of dishes.
